*My phone rings from across my room where I just plugged it in. A unknown number appears so I answer it. I hear someone breathing.*
Y/n: Hello who is this?
Daniel: Hi Y/n right?
Y/n: Maybe. Who Are you?
Daniel: I'll take that as a yes.
Y/n: Who are you? I think you have the wrong number.
Daniel: I go to school with you. My friend gave me your number.
Y/n: Ok but you still didn't answer who you are.
Daniel: Don't worry about that.
Y/n: Jack is this you? Are you pranking me?
Daniel: No this isn't Jack. I'll give you 2 more guess and I'll tell you if you can't get it.
Y/n: Ok Eben?
Daniel: Nope.
Y/n: Ok Lucas is this you?
Daniel: No sweetheart.
Y/n: Ok I give up. Who are you?
Daniel: It's.....*My phone shuts off and goes black. The battery must of died just as he was going to say his name. The voice sounded familiar. He's voice was soft but a little raspy. He said we went to school and that's no help. I go to school with like a thousand kids. I plug my phone back in and when it turns on it dings with a message attached.*
Daniel: I guess you'll just have to wait sweetheart.
Y/n: I don't want to wait. Just tell me.
Daniel: Nope I can't do that. Have a good night.
Y/n: Please.
Daniel: No. you'll find out soon.
*The next as I walked down the hallways. I noticed people I have never seen before. I never really realized how big my school was until now. As I look for this mystery boy. How do I even know he actually goes to my school. There's nothing I can actually identify this guy with. Just a soft raspy voice. My locker is at the end of lockers of the "jocks". There's Jack, Jonah and of course the most popular boy in our school. Daniel Seavey. Jack and I have gym together so we talk sometimes. Daniel and Jonah would never even know me if Jack and I didn't kiss at a party. Cold hands cover my eyes. Is this him. The mystery guy. But as I turn around and pull the fingers off my face. I see Kat short for Katlyn. She's my best friend since freshman year.*
Kat: What I'm not good enough? Y/n: What do you mean? Kat: Well the look on your face told me you were expecting someone else. So who is he? Y/n: I don't know. Kat: Stop being stilly. Who is he?
*I pull her into a empty classroom.*
Y/n: Kat I'm serious. I have no idea. This number called me last night and it was a guy from our school. He knew me and did I would soon find out who he was.
Kat: Holy shit what if he's like a murder or a kidnapper.
Y/n: Kat I'm being serious. I need to know. It's driving me crazy.
Kat: So text him or call him. Maybe you'll be able to hear their ringtone.
Y/n: Doubt it. In a school full of people getting messages and notifications.
Kat: Just try it in every class you have.
Y/n: What if he's not in any of my classes?
*The bell goes and Kat and I break apart. She's going to English and I'm going to Biology.*
Kat: Just try it. *In the middle of Biology I hid my phone on my lap and call the number. It's silent throughout the classroom except for Mr.Gerrard lecturing us. My dings and a text from that same number appears.*
Daniel: Nice try but I'm not in biology with you. *I look up and my eyes connect with Mr.Gerrards. He's staring at me and so is everyone else.*
