prologue

"I can't wait to see you guys and the baby!  Ah, I'm the luckiest god father,"  "Wooyoung stop talking on the phone and focus on driving!  I can hear the rain from the other line!"  Wooyoung laughed. "Yeah maybe I should, it's pretty bad. I can barely see two feet ahead of me."  "Okay, bye Wooyoung, drive safely!"  "Bye Soobin, tell Yerim I said hi!"  Wooyoung hung up the phone.  Him being unable to see two feet ahead of him was not an exaggeration.   The rain was heavy and his car was swiveling a bit.  Fortunately, no one was on the road.  There were no street lights either.  Wooyoung hummed and put on the radio, it was the news, talking about the weather and how car accidents had been in the high during the week.   "Bastards don't know how to drive much these days."  He mumbled.   Soon after, his car began to slip on the road, he supposed he was driving up a small hill.  "What the fuck-"  Wooyoung lost control of his car and drove himself into a tree.   He was unconscious in his car, blood dripping from his forehead as the car burst into flames.   He wasn't there for long though, maybe it was the angel Gabriel, or god himself, but he was quickly lifted out of the car, unbeknownst to him and taken to safety.
