"New year, new me." "You'll stop being a pussy and drink raw blood now?" "San!" "Honest question." Wooyoung and the brothers had moved out of their old mansion, bidding farewell to their longtime neighbors and returning the traumatized pup to them. Youngjo had bit Hongjoong's nose off after getting Dongmyeong back. The new residents was fairly smaller than the mansion in Seoul. It had a pool though, and a four car garage. The Seoul mansion was outdated and didn't even have proper plumbing. Wooyoung thought it was a good upgrade. The only issue was, rooms had to be shared. Yeosang had attempted to set the mansion on fire because it didn't have a library, San installed a brick wall in his and Jongho's room, ensuring privacy. Wooyoung got to live in the basement and Hongjoong got the attic.  Wooyoung began practicing his cooking skills during the holidays and almost, ironically had given the vampires food poisoning, if that was even possible. They couldn't digest human food so they puked it all up. Gwanju, where they lived now, had a higher population of vampires and other super naturals according to Hongjoong.  The benefits to that included blood hot spots, things like the black market and such.  They regularly went 'grocery shopping'.  A lot of the venders at the blood market had real humans in cages, vampires and other monsters would bid on them.  Usually when Hongjoong brought Wooyoung along he made Wooyoung carry all the blood.  Wooyoung still craved human food so having cabinets full of honey chips wasn't very uncommon in the new mansion.  They attended their mothers funeral that was held at a cathedral.  People lined up all down the streets to see their mother.  "She looks like you."  Wooyoung said.  Seonghwa hummed.  "She always told me I was the best looking."  "To boost your ego, mommy's boy."  Yunho hissed.  The open casket was covered in glass because people were trying to cast spells to revive their mother.  But she was long gone. "Sorry, again, for your loss." "Please, I'm quite happy over this. Rotten, right?" "Very."

"So you did make it!" "Don't be surprised Hongjoong, your mother was held at high respect before she made those little satanic spawns." Xiaojun said, pointing at Jongho and San. "Where's Donghyuck and Kunhang?" "You're really asking that? You of all people should now they're practically throwing a party over Seoyoung's death."  "And may she have a horrible after life." Mingi said. "How's Donghyuck?" Mingi asked. "Why? What do you wanna know, little pervert." Xiaojun asked. "Just checking in. I don't have bad intentions." "Your entire existence is a bad intention, anyway, he's fine. Sensitive as ever, but just fine."

Hongjoong got up onto the stage in the cathedral. He clicked his glass with a knife, making a tiny crack in it. "Before I say some brief words about my mother, I want to say thank you, to everyone who is here today. Most of you are probably rejoicing over her death, others mourning. Both are understandable. I'm not saying my mother was a good woman, but she was brilliant, you have to admit. The crowds of people hummed in agreement. "Seoyoung was a bitter soul, she showed that in the way she treated her peers, spouses and even children. I don't know what her last words were, not that I'm very interested, but I hope they were worth it. I love my mother, but she doesn't deserve to rest peacefully. May she burn in hell till the ends of time!" Hongjoong said. A small applause was given.

Mingi got up on stage next. "To say I despise my mother is an understatement. She is the only thing that ever made me unhappy, made me feel real pain. I can't say I love her, because she never loved me. She tortured me till she was at the bottom of the ocean, even now, I still hear her sick voice in the back of my head. Nevertheless, thank you all for being here. I hope the witch feels nothing but pain, wherever she is." All the guests cheered and gave Mingi a lasting applause.

Yunho was the last to speak.  "Fuck Seoyoung.  Fuck her for being able to live so long.  She was a piece of shit being, piece of shit everything.  All those who loved her, she never cared.  Only for herself. That's all that mattered.  If she was happy then it didn't matter what happened to anyone else.  When I was a tiny baby, I remember this vividly, she left me in a thorn bush.  To see how many scratches I'd get.  For every scratch, she'd give me a kiss.  Fun game.  I don't know why I mentioned it.  To close it off, she was an amazing woman.  I hope she's being strung from her hair and beaten with a torch.  Cheers!"   Everyone cheered.

Hongjoong and Yeosang wished everyone their farewells.  The rest waited in the limousine.   "That was pretty intense..I've never been to such a luxurious funeral."  Wooyoung said.  "Yes well, clad attempt to lighten the mood my dear.  You've failed at it.  Just don't mention it."  San said.  "Were any of you very close with your mother?"
"Just Hongjoong really, she'd call him her little prodigy.  But our father was great to us, even to San and Jongho.  Right before he left he told us that we're all his sons.  A real tear jerker I must say."  Yunho said.  "All these events seem like hallucinations."  Everyone stared at Wooyoung.  "What?  I'm a traumatized man, haven't I got the right to express how I feel at least."  "But of course Wooyoung, maybe if you'd shut your fucking mouth at our mothers funeral we'd feel a bit better."

"All you did was complain about her-"  "It's called a coping mechanism you imbecile!"  Seonghwa said.  "Can we just have a peaceful car ride home, please?  Maybe we can hallucinate a normal life."  Jongho said.
"Fine I'll take your word for it.  Let's go."

The same routine continued, on and on and on.  Wooyoung never got bored of it, some how.  He didn't think to, it'd ruin the fun.  Maybe they weren't so bad.

a/n: Well, there's not much to say, is there!  Now let's be honest this book was a fucking mess, but in my words, a masterpiece as well.  I didn't have a very neat story line, albeit if there even was a storyline.  Most of this was from the mushy part of my brain where nonsense things come from.  I wanted Wooyoung's character to seem vulnerable and useless, helpless is a better word.  He was a character that had a weak self defense mechanism and I think I executed that well.  The brothers were meant to be pretty malicious but I turned Jongho and Yeosang into saviors-ish.  Barely.
If Jongho or Yeosang had been as bad as the rest,  Wooyoung would've surely been eaten to the bone, yknow?  I'm still editing the story because some of the grammar was..awful.  I cringed reading some chapters lol.  But this book almost being at 20k is fucking insane??  This book doesn't have a 'happy' ending.  Wooyoung doesn't have anything left obviously.  But seeing him become at peace with the brothers was pretty nice.  Alright, that's all I have to say!  I guess there was much to say..bye!
