Skyys' POV**

I was laying on the couch it had been a long night out partying maybe a little too much to drink. I heard the door open and close. Great...

"Babe." I heard my fathers voice call. I suck into the couch trying to remain as invisible as possible. He stumbled around and went to his room. Probably drunk maybe a little high. I let a sigh of relief that he didn't see me he was very aggressive when he was drunk, and mean. I heard the door open and shut.

"My beautiful Skyy where are you?" I heard him call. No..no...no! I could hear him creep closer I saw his hand draw back and I flew up in a cold sweat oh thank god that was just another nightmare. I was safe and sound at the adoption house. My parents were addicted to anything and everything, obviously you could tell by my name! Who else names there kid after vodka? I went to my closet looking at my dresses I had been longing to wear. I missed partying. Too bad I was getting adopted tomorrow by a really young couple thy weren't even married will see how this turns out. Like I'm legit he's like 19 I'm only what 16 turning 17 soon yeah well see how this one turns out. I turned to look at the clock 5:00 am! Ugh they were coming at 7 might as well stay up.

"Skyy your new parents would like to meet you." Ms. Lisa called from downstairs.

"Coming." I said grabbing my bags. I was walking down stairs when the one with all my dresses fell.

"Shit!" I mumbled under my breath.

"Skyy what have we talked about?" She said giving me a death glare.

"No profanity.." I said annoyed. I looked to find an extremely young couple! Hey he was kinda cute though.

"Hi I'm Liam." He said embracing me in a hug. Well okay Mr. Friendly.

"I'm Hannah." Said a girl standing next to him who gave me a warm smile. I smiled back trying to remember my manners.

"We'll let's get going?" Liam said grabbing my stuff. Before I went I gave  Ms. Lisa a hug .

"Thank you." I said. "For saving me from the living hell." I added.

"Oh Skyy I'm gonna whoop you one day for that mouth!" She said smiling letting a single tear fall.

"Oh you know you love me!"

"Leave Skyy before I beat you!" She said laughing.

"I'll be expecting a birthday present!" I called on my way out. Ms. Lisa is the only person I've ever truly loved in my life she has been there from the beging and I don't know what I would have done without her. And when I say I loved her you better believe it. i dont ever say the L word to anyone. of course I've had boyfriends and when they tell me they love me I drop them. Maybe Im afraid of getting hurt but call me crazy. whatevs. Its not that i hate people i just don't love them. make sense? She's like the mom I never had. I mean of course I had a mother and father that were addicted to everything except me. Their addictions eventually killed them. It might sound bad that I never shedded one tear, right? But, I refuse to cry. I. Never. Cry. What's the point?
