"Dream slow down! I can't run like I used to anymore, I know I'm 25 but come on!" Bad yelled most of it in a joking matter, he was hoping to give Dream some security even for a moment if it had worked. Dream had heard Bad, he slowed down a bit but not by much, he had no idea where he was going. Dream's foot suddenly got caught on a tree root causing him to fall onto the wet grass, Bad watched as he fell and went over. Dream had crawled under a tree and was now sitting under it shaking, his knees were pulled up to his chest and his head was resting on them.
"Hey Dream, its alright." Bad said in a calm and gentle voice, he sat himself down next to the younger man. Dream scooted over to Bad and buried his head into the older man's shoulder, his body was now violently shaking. The masked man began to softly sob into Bad's shoulder, he wrapped his arms around him. Bad threaded his hand through Dream's dirty blonde hair, his other rubbing circles on his back, "It's okay, we all make mistakes, even you, but the best thing you can do is forgive yourself first then George okay?" The oldest saddened, the younger man had replied with a quiet sob. They'd never gone through such breakdowns, well they had but not Dream- Dream normally kept calm and it was hard to finally see him breakdown. "Let it all out Muffin, it's okay, no one is judging you." Bad whispered while continuing his comfort.
Dream's body seemed to tense up, he kept quietly repeating the words I'm sorry over and over, whatever happened seem to have heavily shaken Dream. He had been bottling up his emotions for a while now and he knew at one point he would have to release them, so he did. The masked man started to scream and cry into the eldest's shoulder, his body shaking as he did so. He knew that George hadn't done anything wrong back in the cave, it had been his fault that they both died, if only he had listened, why didn't he just listen?
"Take off your mask Dream, you'll intake air easier, let yourself breath." Bad whispered softly, "I won't look if you don't want me to, but please allow yourself to breath easier." Dream nodded gently, "I-I don't mind you seeing." He said softly as he pulled off his mask, he took his face out of Bad's shoulder and rested his head on it instead. He started taking long and deep breaths, his body was tired after the breakdown.
"Alright, come on you muffin head, I'm not carrying you back to the camp if thats what you're thinking!" Bad laughed as he said this.
