(I just now realized the movie took place in the 60's or 70's so of course they didn't have cell phones back then, but let's pretend this happened in the now now ok? Lol)
It was so hard for me to focus all week on my cheering and on my school work, knowing that Sindy Thomson, Carry Murphy, Alison Coal, Valery Green, and Dawn Baker had been kidnapped, nobody knew where they went too except going on a weekend drive, nobody knew where but that was all everyone heard about.
Don't get me wrong, dealing with five girls was a pain in my ass, they always bullied us newbie cheerleaders, I wanted to quit but I could never bring myself to tell them that, maybe I was scared of them? I wasn't quite sure but at least I had my two friends with me, we sat outside after practice as we sat on the bleachers,
"I still cant belive the're gone...I mean.....what do you think happened to them?"
Jenna after taking a drink from her water bottle and shoved it in her cheer bag, Maddie shook her head as she watched as the jocks ran onto the field to practice football.
"Nobody really knows, I just know they were going out of town to some party......they had to stop at this weird gas station, something called Captain Spaulding's gas station or something..."
I looked up in interested as I slung my backpack over my shoulder as I stood up,
"I heard about that place, my landlord always said that place was a very messed up place to go to, but the chicken was seriously to die over and she had a small crush on that Spaulding guy,"
The girls looked at each other as Maddie and Jenna stood up as they smiled alittle, well Maddie was anyway, Jenna had a nervous look on her face as she looked at us then at the field.
"looks like we are gonna go on a roadtrip!"
Maddie exclaimed as she walked us to off the bleachers and down the street, we agreed we would meet back at my place in a few hours and Maddie would drive her car, once I got back I sighed as I walked into my apartment and tossed my bag on the sofa and turned on the tv before making a glass of unsweet tea and a cream cheese bagel and walked over and sat down, I dug into my bag for my phone to check my messages from Otis, as if on que I got a unknown call, knowing exactly who it was I hesitated before answering,
"Hey there mama, how was your day at school?"
How exactly did he know I just got home from school? That was a bit odd,
"It.....it was alright......just.......a little shook up from the missing girls from our school.....but my friends and I are going on a road trip to this captain Spaulding's attraction....I really have no idea why..."
There was a long silenced pause before a small chuckle was heard,
"That ol' son of a bitch is still running that piece of shit joint? Shit if you wanna see attractions I could show you something alright, something you will never forget mama,"
Otis's voice dropped on that last part, sending chills down my spine, I had no idea what to think about all this but as I was talking to Otis my front door open to Maddie and Jenna, they had their winter coats on and looked like they were freezing, I looked out my window and saw the wind was blowing, it was Halloween eve after all.
(Did I forget to mention that? My bad! =^+^=)
I told Otis I would message him on our way out, before I hung up and looked at the girls, I couldn't believe we were seriously going to be doing this.......going and trying to find out what happened to the missing cheerleaders......this seriously didn't make sense and it was so insane!
