Chapter 1: "A new beginning"

???'s POV

  It was a wonderful night of sleep until the most annoying sound of the day reached my ears. 

  My alarm clock.

  I drowsly open my eyes, blinking so i could ajust to the sunlight coming trough the window, and stretch my arm out to reach my bedside table where the sound was coming from. I slam my hand down on my digital alarm clock hitting the button to turn the alarm off for the day. I then reach a sitting position and stretch my arms over my head, yawning at the same time.

  It was September and yesterday was the day I moved in to Magnolia where I'll be attending Fairy Tail High School. The number one high school in the country of Fiore. 

  I get up and start heading towards my bathroom. In the way I start to undress myself and get a towel from my suitcase still not fully unpacked. I enter the bathroom and turn the shower on. After waiting for the water to warm up, I get in and take a quick shower. After that I get dressed with a simple white crop top ,with some stars designs on it, and some light blue jeans. I brushed my hair and stylize it in a simple ponytail. I put on some white sneakers with silver cords.

  I then grab my small backpack with my phone, some make-up(you never know when youre going to need it), some wipes, my phone, ear buds, car keys and my wallet. I also grab my apartment keys from the kitchen counter and head out the door, going down the stars and finally leave the building.

  I tought about taking the car but decided to go on foot. All the driving yesterday made my legs numb. I grab my phone and call my best friend and fellow book lover, Levy McGarden.

  "Hello?"I hear her voice from the other side of the device.

  "Hi Levy-chan!"

  "Lu-chan! Hi! How is it going?"

  "Good. I arrived yesterday and i was thinking if today we could maybe hangout?"

  "Of course! We haven't seen each other in months! Do you know where the 8-island cafe is?"

  "Of course I do! Meet you there in 10 minutes?"

  "I'll be there. See you soon!"

  "See ya!"

  I hung up and start walking towards the place. Levy is my best friend. We met at one of our favourite authors signing session. We were together in line waiting for the author to arrive and, I don't even know what happened but, we just started talking about the books the author had published. After getting our books signed we decided to go out for some coffee and ended up in 8-island, recommended by her. It's like we were meant to be very good friends when we met. After that we exchanged social media and kept talking trough them. We talked a lot about books but she also really liked to talk about her soulmate.

  She had found hers a few weeks prior to the end of the last school year, after he transfered to Fairy Tail and she was asked to tutor him. It was basically love at frst sight. She told me she knew it was him because of all the piercings, in his face and forearms, and the iron bracelets he had. After all her mark was a small iron dragon in the back of her neck. While his mark were a stack of books with red glasses on top that matched the ones she uses to read. His name is Gajeel Redfox, and let me tell you that when I saw their picture together for the first time i couldn't help but laugh. He was so tall compared to her! No wonder he calls her Shrimp(one of the nicknames he gave her)! But besides all that they look perfect together.

  Now you might be wandering if they have soulmate marks, what is mine? Well...

  I don't really know myself. I mean I know what it is but I just don't know what it means. 

  After all, how could a giant red dragon tattoo on your back tell you much about the person you're destined to be with?
