Love Rained

Chapter 1

~Kacy's P.O.V

Woke up to see myself in the plane for the first time in my life.

~flash back to what happened to me before I got here~

I woke up to my phone ringing beside me, the name I saw on the screen made me jump out of my bed, it was my sister "lisa Collins"

Hey cutie pie she says immediately I picked her call, she knows I hate that name and I replied saying yes, what do you want?

Don't tell me I woke you up,"she said...okay I just wanted to let you know that I got a new house and I would love you to come over here for holiday.

Alright, you guys might not understand, well my name is Kacy Collins and I lived with my parents (Rachel & Goodwill Collins) and my only sister not until when my dad died and my sister was forced to travel out of the country by my mum. two years after my sister left, I was left alone with my mum and I was only twelve years old then
Although my dad died when I was ten years old. I lived in a small city in Nigeria but after my dad died we were forced to leave the apartment, so we moved back to our village which was so cold and not fun, I miss my dad so much and my sister.

Today marks the 7th year since I set my eyes on my sister but I always call her and also text her but it wasn't enough, I just want to see her...sigh

After hearing the news about her new house , I was so ready to leave but I couldn't because of my mum, I didn't want to leave her.

My mum is not here because she's in the hospital, she's so sick that the doctor and nurse doesn't know the cause of the sickness, I'm so scared
I don't want to lose my mum again.

~Wiping the little tears from my face

And back to me and my sister's conversation on the phone.
So how is mum feeling?my sister asked,she's not feeling well Lisa"I couldn't hold back the tears "

Hey hey don't cry she's going to be fine don't worry, don't make me cry "my sister's shaky voice made me cry out loud "
I wish you were here, I said to my sister
I know 'she said, just let me know when you are going to the hospital so that I can speak to her okay? Kacy...you there?

Yes Lisa I will call you when I get to the hospital, I said
Okay take care of yourself my sister said to me and I told her bye and she hung up.

Just after I finished talking to my sister, I checked the time on my phone and since it was only 8:00am, I still had time to take care of the house before leaving to see my mum in the hospital.

Today is Saturday, I have to wash the dishes and do the laundry, I also need to pick new clothes for my mum, I just can't wait to see her.

School has been dry for me since we started a new term and it's my last year in school before graduation, I attended a public school in my village because I couldn't go to a private school and of course,the school fees was high and my sister didn't get a job not until my mum was sick and she had to start paying her hospital bill.

Now, I was done doing my chores and I was ready to go to the hospital to meet my mother.
The hospital was not very far from our house so I walked all over there, it didn't take me 10-15 minutes before I got there.

~At the hospital

Hey Kacy , the nurse at the reception called my name
Hello nurse Debbie I smiled after replying her
Every one in the hospital knows who I was already because my mom has been in the hospital for over four months now and I didn't stop visiting her, sometimes I could stay with her for a whole week without going home.

When I left the reception, I went straight to my mom's room
There she is on the sick bed with tubes and drips on her, I wish I could get her from there and take her with me back home but I couldn't, she's very sick "I mop the little tears on my cheeks with my palm".

I opened the door of her room and closed it immediately I was inside
Hey mom I said but when I got closer to her bed, I saw something else....

That was the first chapter, hope you liked it, I know it was dry but it took me 20 minutes to write that
