I got a text from Kevin that read "practice is @ 5. My address is 2118 Westview Rd. Hope to see you soon ." I replied: "I'll be there! See you soon." I locked my phone and walked downstairs into the kitchen where my cousin was. "How was school?" She said. "It was good. I met someone. Turns out I have every class with him." "Him? Oh, interesting." He joked. "Is he cute?" He added. "I would think so." I opened the fridge door and grabbed an orange juice. "He actually invited me to his band practice which I am going to in 5 minutes." I said. "Well, awesome have fun. I have to work late." He kissed my temple then rushed out the door. I called Kevin. "Hello?" "Hey, I'm on my way. You're like, 10 minutes away front house." I said. "Cool. See you in a bit!" I said goodbye and hung up. I grabbed my keys and got in my car and drove off.

I got to his house and knocked on the door. "Hey there." Kevin says as he swung the door open. He embraced me in a hug. I felt my cheeks warm. "Hi" I smiled and he invited me in. "Uh, guys this is my friend Ryan. Ryan, the guys" He introduced me. I waved politely and shook their hands. I turned to Kevin and smiled. "So, ready to go practice?" Kevin suggested. Everyone stood up and fallowed him to the garage. As we got in, everyone went to their instruments. Kevin went to the mic and grabbed it. "Hi, we're Ghost Town and this is You're So Creepy" I smiled and they began playing. A minute into the song and I'm already in love. Kevin kept winking and smirking at me. I blushed and nodded my head to the songs. they finally finished and I hugged Kevin tightly. "That was absolutely incredible, you guys." I hugged them and have an assuring smiling. "Thank you" he said softly. As the day went on, everyone left and it was just Kevin and I. It was a little awkward. "Thanks for coming and listening" he said. "Not a problem. You guys are really good. I like that electronic, heavy feel" I smiled. "Thank you." He spoke softly. I nodded and looked away. "Well, um, I guess I'm gonna get going. See you tomorrow, okay?" I said as I walked to the front door. "Uh, yeah sure!" He got up and opened the door for me. We stood there in an awkward silence. "Thanks again" he said and he placed a warm kiss on my cheek. I blushed. I waved goodbye and drove home. Alright.
