Erased from time again

Huh? That was quick

Kaede's pov
       I woke up hearing the announcement slipping out of bed I got dressed into my normal uniform that I usually wore and added a small handbag instead of my big pink backpack today. I still couldn't process being put into a killing game but at least a few of my friends were here, oh! Also I found two of my friends that went missing awhile go! Mahiru and Aoi! I went outside and looked over seeing Shuichi off in the distance so I ran over since the two girls were know to get up early when I knew them, they were probably already at the dinner. "Hey Shuichi, wait up!" I shouted as I went over to him hunching over to catch my breath as I reached a few feet behind him. "Oh hey Kaede" he said looking over and lightly waving. "Good morning how was your rest?" He asked as I stood up properly and walked alongside him. "It was alright, I really don't want to be here though" I said with a small nervous chuckle. "I don't think anyone wants to be here honestly" he replied back. I nodded and we talked for a bit trying to figure out a way on how we got here since it was a bit strange to wake up in an island. I mean come on one second we were all at school at school then the next we ended up here. When we got to the diner Mahiru and Aoi were already at a table waiting for me so I waved goodbye to Shuichi. As I sat down Mahiru immediately started asking questions. "Who's that? Do you like him? Dose he like you? Are you dating?!" I covered her mouth and sighed. "Mahiru calm down it's just Shuichi." "Well Shuichi seems nice!" Aoi chimes in, Mahiru half nods as she moved my hand away. "He's one of my friends I went to class with after you two went missing... then we ended up here" I sighed. Mahiru shook her head. "Hey it's not that bad, not like anyone would even try to kill at the moment we are trying to keep all of you safe for no-" she was quickly cut off with a familiar sound.

"Ding dong, bing bong! A body has been discovered! After a certain amount of time which you may use however you like, a class trial will begin. The culprit didn't kill their target so therefore it dosen't go long the lines of the motive- the trial will take place soon!"

       We all looked at each other as the announcements went off. Then before anyone could say a word we rushed out of the diner and to where we heard a scream. When I saw the body I took a few steps back from the horrifying sight. Right before all of us lied Mokoto Naegi the ultimate hope with a small plate of food and a jab in multiple places which seemed like it could be from some type of art material. "M-mo-Mokoto?!" Mikan said as she walked up beside us. Soon after everyone gathered around as if it was a sale at a beauty parlor. "Well let's not waste any time" Kyoko said as she approached his body, I could tell how upset she was but then again she dosen't know how to process much emotion from what I've seen so far. All one by one decided to help out in any way we could, Shuichi and I went around with Aoi collecting alibis for where everyone was at. Soon enough we had to return to the place of the crime and actually look at the body. It was still a horrifying sight to see but we just had to suck it up and feel lucky it wasn't us. I bent down beside him and felt around the jab in his shoulder, it seemed whatever made the damage went through the bones and snapped them like twigs. Whoever this was either is super strong or just had the right tools. Maybe they were even running on adrenaline to save themselves, mokoto night have been after them. I stood from where I was with a small sigh before Kirumi came up beside me holding a small sharp object in her hand. "Excuse me miss Kaede but I found this over by the wall, it may be the murder weapon." I nodded with a small thank you and took it form her hands to look at it, almost the whole thing was covered in dry blood but I could see one letter through the smudges at the end. " I, hmmm who has the letter I.... what?" I said as the trial announcement went off. Quickly everyone headed to the statue and watched as it moved to make room for the elevator we had to enter. We all stood at our podiums and looked around suspiciously at each other. The rules were explained but I wasn't paying attention I was too busy thinking about the names. "Nyeh~ lets see, any clues? Atua refuses to participate with me until we know what's happening!" Angie cheered with her hands together praying above her head. "Well first we know that the stab wounds are from a cylinder type needle." Hajime stated to start the conversation. "It had a small splash of paint on it so we can suggest it's from the art hall." Ryoma announced. "Miss Kaede didn't you see something on the evidence that I gave you?" Kirumi asked in a gentle voice as all heads turned to me. "Oh right yes I did!" "Well hurry up we don't have all fuckin day" fuyuhiko butted into the talk. "Well the murder weapon had the a name of the culprit or brand on it, since were on this island we can safely assume that there isn't going to really be anything that's from a brand." I said while a few others nodded following on to my words. "So that makes Kokichi, Maki, Miu, Celestia, Fuyuhiko, Hajime, Sonia, Korekiyo, Aoi, Himiko, Kaito, Angie, Tsumugi, Kirumi, Kiibo, Chiaki, Hiyoko, Kazuichi, Mahiru, Mikan, the and... Shuichi suspects of this trial." Everyone watched as all twenty one podiums of the people I just called moved to the center of the trial room. "First let's start with kiibo, where were you through out the time span." Shuichi started. "Well for the first part I was being harassed by Kokichi then the second I was helping Miu with an invention that wasn't like whatever that other stuff she makes is." Kiibo ended with a small shutter which I could understand because what she makes is a bit concerning. We went through to most of the rest of everyone. "So what about you Angie?" We asked since we were still slowly moving down the line. "Oh well I was praying to Atua! Nyeh~ All throughout the night, he suggested I should stay up at the beach so nobody would attack me." She said with a small nod. "I can confirm small bits of that! Last night I did in fact see her praying at the beach during my swim, and this morning I saw her again in the same place for my run." Aoi announced to us. I and a few others nodded and kept asking a few more people. "Alright so that narrows it down to.... Aoi, Fuyuhiko, Angie, Mikan, and Mahiru" Shuichi said. I didn't really believe Aoi or Mahiru would have the nerve to kill someone so they were off the list in my head. The others three I'm not so sure about.  Soon enough the trial came to an end, I couldn't believe it. Angie was the culprit? We all casted our voted as we watched her execution begin. This is just cruel, I want to go....

A/N: I am so sorry that took awhile to make I took some time to plan out it but then lost my plans so I had to restart and roll with it- the trial ended a bit early but the reason why Angie killed Mokoto will be stated next chapter!
