-Sora's POV-
"Sora! Wake up! It's already nine!" I quickly jumped out of bed, brushed my teeth, took a quick shower, threw on my clothes, which consists of a white T-shirt, blue shorts, white armbands, and the normal blue ninja sandals, and ran downstairs. Before I dashed through the door, Mom pulled on my T-shirt, stopping me from running out. " Slow down, Sora. It's still 6 AM!" I think you can imagine my reaction, now. I was shocked, confused, and annoyed at the same time! I grumbled. She really loves to do that to me...
"Anyway, Sora. Today I'll be having a mission with the others. Be good at school." I nodded. "Okay." "Oh, and, since today is your first day at the Academy, walk there with Sakura-chan, okay?" I nodded again. I'm gonna meet that Sakura-san. She's.....a bit scary. When studying, she's like on rampage! It's scary.... But thanks to her, I learned enough to last me the next month.
Suddenly, Mom called out to me, "Sora! Why don't you train with Dad for a bit, you still have about an hour before you need to go to school, right? Come on." I nodded. I already knew what I would be practicing...the basics of an Aomori clan Jutsu. My Dad's family's specialty are Water Jutsus. They know lots of Water Jutsus. My Dad taught me the basics of controlling water with...um..Chakra, I think. My Dad told me that I should be able to use at least one Water type skill at seven. I'm practicing how to make small bubbles of water from the water inside a bowl my Dad uses to train me. I'm only able to make only one small bubble, though.
"Okay, Mom..." I walked inside the house, and entered the small training room. There is nothing inside except a pile of equipments. However, this time, my Dad was inside. "Sora, let's start training. You have to be able to make at least two bubbles today." My eyes widened. I only managed to make a small bubble a few days ago, and that was after a week of training! Now he expects me to make two bubbles?!
"But, Dad, last time I made one bubble! That's okay, right?" Dad shook his head. "No....never be satisfied with your results. Strive to aim higher, never give up. If you're strong, there will always be someone stronger than you. Now, try to make two bubbles. Train harder." I didn't have a choice, so I trained harder to make two bubbles. An hour passed, I was panting, but only one bubble floated. When I looked up, I saw my Dad sigh. "We'll continue later, so you should go to school. I'll see you later, Sora."
Following my Dad's orders, I exited the room, and went straight to Sakura-san's house. She had just exited her house when I saw her. "Sakura-san! Mom told me that I have to go to school with you." She smiled and nodded. "Okay, come here! Let's walk together."
Smiling, I walked beside her. Well, she is nice when she's not on....rampage. "So, Sora-chan!" I turned to face her. "What do you expect of the Academy?"
I thought a bit. I would want some friends, of course. Everyday my parents would spend time with me, I thought, but I never really played with anyone before. It's true. I was lonely. All I ever did was, either, helping Mom, training with Dad, or playing by myself.
"I want some good new friends! I'm sure the Academy will be loads of fun if I have them!" Sakura-san smiled. "Yeah, I know."
After a few more minutes of walking, we arrived at the Academy. I wonder what my teacher would be like. "Sora-chan! The classroom for first-year students is Classroom 104 right here. I'll see you at lunch, bye!" And after that, Sakura-san ran to her own classroom. Taking a deep breath, I opened the classroom doors. Little did I know that my soon-to-be rival would be there.
-Unknown POV-
I watched the classroom doors slowly open. I wonder who the next student will be. I hope that he or she won't be as boring. These guys are a bunch of dim-wits! They don't even have basic taijutsu skills....they should at least be able to fend off a dog! I looked at my friend, Reina. The dog I was with is hers. She is my mother's friend's daughter; it's normal for me to befriend her, even if I'm a boy. She looked a bit worried, though. Well, whatever, she looks like that a lot.
