Reader's P.O.V.
"Aerith!!" I shout and bolt struggling to put my boot on. Hopping on one foot down the stairs. My phone in my other hand.
"Y/n! Don't do that your going to fall! If you break open your skull I'm not taking you to the hospital." Aerith teases as I hit the bottom. Spinning I throw on my jacket from my elbow. Almost shoving the phone in her face. She hums and looks at it. After a second she breaks into a grin and squeals.
"Oh that's adorable!!" She fawns a the video the vet, Strelitzia, sent me. It's been two weeks since the puppy got sent to the vet. Every other day or so Saix has shown up at my home or the bar. Driving me to the vet so we can check on the puppy. I've since befriended the kind vet hand Strelitzia. She gave me her number so she can send me messages of the puppy. Like this one.
This small video is of the puppy, who looks so much better, playing with his blanket. He's making little growls and snorts as he lays on his belly. All his feet splayed out. His big brown eyes are glittering with joy. He's all washed up and healthy now. Revealing his coat is actually a dirt brown with caramel highlights.
My phone dings and a text from Strelitzia pops up, 'He's getting his playful energy back. We've finally got the results to the test we did.'

B= 'Sweet! What's it say?'
We wait with baited breath as another text pops up. 'The blood test shows he's healthly so that's good. He doesn't have any chips or signs of shots. Meaning he's likely a stray. We did learn his breed thanks to one of the test. He's an Australian Kelpie Dog puppy. Based on his size and behavior he can't be older then thirteen weeks.'
"Wow! He's in way better health then we expected!" Aerith chirps sounding relieved and I nod sighing. We text back and equivalent reply. Saix will also be estatic about that.
"I'm glad he turned out okay." I say as I see Strelitzia send a emote to me. Chuckling I put my phone away.
"I'm gonna get to meet this baby boy at least once, right?" Aerith begs giving her own iconic puppy eyes. I roll my eyes and moves to leave.
"If Strelitzia and her boss Skuld wouldn't mind. I don't really have a say about that." I tell her as I wave goodbye and make my way to the cafe. Having a skip in my step. Having started my day off in the best way possible.

"He's so cute!" The pair of sisters squeal at the video. I'm grinning and munching on my lunch. Zexion is looking too and his visible eye widens. His lips turn into a smile. He doesn't let out a high pitched squeal, but he has clearly fallen for the puppy in the short video.
It was a bit akward originally explaining why Saix was showing up. Asking me if I was ready to go. Aqua and Xion both are guilty of giving me suggestive looks because of that. Once they heard why Saix and I were spending so much time together. They practically held me hostage until I showed them pictures of the puppy.
"We get to meet him right?" Both girls question with big puppy eyes and matching pouts. Why do they always question me? Like I have some control over that. I repeat to them what I told Aerith.
"Ah alright," Xion pouts and then looks up at me with a slight smile, "I guess we'll just have to wait for after work when Saix comes around right?" She says it and her tone is teasing. I roll my eyes and shake my head.
