Lonely

"Nice to meet you, Agatsuma-kun." answered Halilintar.

"I ... me too, Haririntaru-san ..." Halilintar was used to hearng his name pronounced wrongly. Japanese characters do not contain the letter "l" —that is why the majority of Japanese people cannot pronounce the letter "l". Most Japanese vocabulary does not end in non-ending letters such as "b", "m", "r", and so on, except for the "n" (ん / ン) capital letter. Hence the name "Halilintar" will become "Haririntaru" (ハ リ リ ン タ ル).

"Haririntaru sounds long," said Halilintar with a thin smile. "Just 'Hari' is enough."
Zenitsu looked at him with wide eyes. He seemed bolder with Halilintar's open attitude.
"Okay, Hari-san," he said in a low voice. Halilintar knew he was a lonely child — naturally, because Zenitsu only lives alone with his grandfather and his house is isolated from other homes so that he couldn't make friends. Who knows where his parents go and imagining a child as small as Zenitsu having to face the death of both his parents (and maybe his brother too) makes Halilintar feel that someone understands his sadness. He was even younger than him when he faced the same loss. The heavy shackles of solitude he had worn at this early stage.

There is no race for whose fate suffers the most, because there will always be people who get hurt more. It does not mean dwarfing the hardness of grief and how tightly the loss crushes his chest, it just inspires Halilintar about strength and becomes even stronger. Looking at Zenitsu, the one who first faced waves and survived, he could take an example from it. Somehow there is a feeling of wanting to protect Zenitsu even though he is nothing to this child. Footprints sounded closer and cut off the gentle atmosphere. Grandpa Jigorou appeared from the doorway, in his hand were scrolls of cloth and pieces of stone.
"Come on," he said simply. He got down and walked towards the forest. Halintar shot a glance at little Zenitsu and immediately chased after Grandpa Jigorou. Even though he was old,  the grandfather was still nimble and not at all fragile. Hali had to jog to match the fast pace of the teacher. When he finally got to level with Grandpa Jigorou's feet, Halilintar immediately spoke.

"Kuwajima-san, I want to thank you, "said Halilintar, remembering the courtesy of his mother. "I am thankful for being a student. "

"Hmmp, show your gratitude by working hard," said Grandpa Jigorou. "If only in the mouth, everyone can do that."
"Fine," answered Halilintar. Grandpa Jigorou suddenly stopped walking. Before them, patches of rice fields stretched out as if they were an endless rug. Too bad it was still winter, leaving the acres of rice fields empty and only piles of snow here and there.

"Let me explain a little about breathing," said Grandpa Jigorou. "I will teach you one of the basic breathing techniques which is lightning breathing. This is the art of swordsmanship that has been around for hundreds of years. Lightning breathing requires the user to move very fast —naturally, lightning-breath users should be the fastest of the swordsmen."
"Not the strongest?" Halilintar asked doubtfully.

"A person is said to be 'strongest' which means he defeated many opponents, not a matter of strength alone. 'Strong' is a combination of speed, muscle strength and ingenuity. For lightning breathing, speed is everything. Quickly analyze the situation, quickly decide and quickly act. One second can be the big difference between life and death. One second can save someone else or let him die. "

Grandpa Jigorou then put the things in his hand to the ground. Halilintar noticed what his teacher was doing questioningly. "Tie this slab to your feet and run on the dike. You have to build up your stamina and leg muscles. Later I will come and judge the results." Without saying anything else, Grandpa Jigorou left Hali, blinking in confusion.
"What?"
