It's been eight long years since I left the Philippines. Eight years without communication with my friends there. I spent those years working my ass off. Keeping myself busy. Working in the daytime and studying at night time. I hate to admit this, but yes. My life there isn't good. I spent my life there with so much pain and hate. But time heals wounds. Those years I manage to know myself more.
In my eight years living here, i'ved tried many things. I explore a lot. Try the things that i haven't try when i was still in the Philippines. Pero ang kapalit non? I try not to connect to my relatives and friends. I miss them? Yeah but i have to pursue my dreams too, if i wanna succeed in life.
Only my family knew where i was. So, technically wala talaga akong balita sa amin. Except sa family ko lang.
Today is sunday i have school later. Kaso kahit alam ko namang mamaya pa ang pasok ko, ang aga ko pa ring nagising. Pero tinatamad pa ko. I feel so tired. Maybe because late na rin ako natulog kagabi. Sa sobrang busy ko minsan nakakalimutan ko na rin matulog. What is sleep again? Kidding.
Naghilamos lang ako at nag ayos ay bumaba na rin ako. I want to eat a heavy meal today though.
Pag kaderetso ko sa kitchen, there i saw my mama. Preparing food ata. ohh finally
" Shania, anong oras pasok mo sa trabaho mo? " My mom ask while she's in the kitchen cooking something yummy. Its breakfast anyway.
" I don't have work its sunday today. I have my class later " i said while opening the fridge. Getting my favorite fresh milk while wondering where my father is.
" Saan si papa? "
" Ay nako nasa garage ata. May kung anong kinakalikot na naman. "
" Si Shainna? Wala pa ba siya? " Its 8 am. Usually 7:30 pa lang nandito na siya.
And just in time may nag doorbell na and for sure thats my younger sister. Si papa na ang nagbukas since nasa labas naman siya. Sabay na silang pumasok.
" Yow wazzup? " Shainna said while puTting her things in the sofa.
" You're late huh. HAHA "
" We had breakfast with my colleagues. Its Doctor Lucas treat anyway ate " she said in her teasing tone while grinning. Oh this girl
Pag kaupo namin ay siya rin namang pasok ni papa galing sa back door. Nag ayos na naman ata ng mga pananim niya. Naghugas lang siya ng kamay ay sumabay na rin siya sa amin.
" Buti pa kayo natreat niya ah. Where's mine anyway? "
" Of course! Your love of your life won't forget you! Hahaha here you go. She said while handing me a lot of my favorite sandwiches
" Bakit ang dami naman? hahaha "
" Eh hindi lang naman kasi para sayo yan. Its for mama and papa rin no "
" Yeah right! "
" Tigilan niyo na nga yang dalawa. Kumain na kayo. "
" Ma, gusto ko rin ng jowa na Doctor na gwapo. HAHAHAHA "
