A/N: (Disclaimer) I do not own Harry Potter or any of its original characters. All of the original characters and elements belong to J.K. Rowling, the original author. All I own are any original characters and the plot.

I'm not sure which hurt worse. The betrayal of my friends and honorary family, or the fact that I never should have been with the Dursley's. The fact that I could have been with my actual family this whole time if not for that meddlesome old coot.

"Can you floo them?" I asked Griphook, finally lifting my eyes, "My family and mates I mean." "Of course my lord."

"Please call me Hadrian," I said absentmindedly. Griphook just looked at me with a genuine smile on his face, and while different, it was not terrifying or gruesome. It was a soft, kind, smile. "Griphook," I began hesitantly, "Is there any way for these spells and blocks to be taken off of me? Preferably here?"

"There is, Hadrian, but it will be extremely painful," He stated. "Can you floo the others while I have everything removed then?" I asked hopefully. He immediately looked to me, saying, "Of course Hadrian. I will start send the message out while Bloodfang escorts you to the chamber." "Thank you," I said before turning to see the door open, and Bloodfang standing there.

At the chamber:

Once we had reached the chamber, I saw that there were many goblins surrounding the outskirts of the room. I turned to ask Bloodfang why they were there, but it was almost as if he already knew what I was about to ask. "There here to absorb any extra magic that leaves the room during the ritual," He stated simply, not even turning to look at me.

Shortly after we entered the room the goblins began to chant (including Bloodfang), and a pain stronger than any I'd ever felt before engulfed my body. It felt as if I were being torn to bits, burnt alive, and being skinned at the same time. Luckily it stopped quickly however.

The goblins were looking at me with concern evident in their eyes, so I asked them, "What is wrong?" "You didn't scream," Blood fang spoke up, "All before you have either screamed or passed out, yet you did neither." He looked me up one more time before leading me out of the ritual room, back to Griphook's office.

The site with in his office; however, was the scariest thing I had ever seen in my life.

Zabini Manor (Blaise's POV)-

I was sitting in the family room, reading a book, when my mother came running in. The look on her face screamed urgency, and I was terrified that something had happened. That something had happened to father or one of the others. "What is wrong mother?" I asked worriedly.

Seeming to catch herself, she relaxed her face before smiling and saying, "Nothing is wrong, but we have just received a floo stating that one of your mate is at Gringotts. It says that all you have to do is say "Mates", and you will immediately be transported to his goblins office. Your other mate will be meeting you there."

I was so beyond shocked that I didn't even know what I was doing till I had already grabbed the paper and said "Mates". I appeared in a goblins office with a flash and immediately paled. "Griphook?" I said with disbelief clear in my voice. Then the others began arriving. That day was probably the most shocking I've ever had.

Longbottom Manor (Neville's POV)-

Gran was once again drunk when it happened. I was sitting in a long forgotten sitting room, waiting for her to sober up, when I received a message via floo.

It read:

Lord Longbottom,

We at Gringotts are happy to inform you that your mates are now at Gringotts, and your presence has been requested by one of them. We await your arrival and have many important things to discuss with you. It appears that some of your paperwork was miss handled.

Sincerely,

Griphook (Gringotts goblin)

P.S.- this message is a port-key, and the activation word is. "Mates".

I couldn't believe it, so I just gripped the letter tighter and said mates. And the sight that greeted me upon appearing in the office, shocked me beyond belief. "Zabini?" I asked just as others started to appear. I knew that the rest of the day would be beyond shocking after I noticed who had joined us in the office.

I just never realized just how shocking it would be.

Hadrian's POV-

I was happy to see that everyone had already arrive by the time I was back. However, the sight of them all pointing there wands at each other was one I hoped to never see again. It was terrifying to be honest. I let out a sharp whistle, and everyone turned to look at me before I said, "Everybody put your wands down! I have called you all here for a reason. You are all here because you are either one of my mates, or family. Zabini, Longbottom, step forward. You as well Riddle."

Everyone was so surprised that they did exactly as I said. "I have something to show you Riddle, and you two ruffians are my mates," I said glaring at Blaise and Neville who were glaring at each other.

I handed Tom the paper and watched closely as he began to read. "Are you sure?, He said, almost as though he couldn't believe it. Like he wanted it to be true. "It's true Papa," I said before hugging him. He immediately hugged me back, and began stroking my hair. "My little Hadrian," He said almost reverently, "I thought I'd never see you again."

By that point everyone was staring at us, as though they thought we had lost our minds. That is until the Malfoy's heard my names. "Hadrian?" Narcissa asked, stepping forward. All I could do was nod my head once I saw the look of love on her face. "Welcome home," Was all she said before she began to cry from happiness.

Blaise and Neville looked beyond confused so I said to them, "Hi, my name is Hadrian Riddle, but you might know me as Harry Potter."

Everyone but Papa seemed to be about to pass out from the shock of it all.
