I am currently in the afternoon practice and I feel so sleep deprived. I feel drained. but here I am, just training. I run towards the ball and set it behind me. lev tRIED to spike it but failed. a for the effort I guess? I was assigned to help lev with his spikes and blocking. but I think he needs a lot more practice.
"I'm so sorry y/n chan!" lev apologized while he bowed down. I just smiled at him and muttered a 'its okay.', it was water break so i went to the bench snd just drank like my life depended on it. I really think lev should stop feeling nervous, thats how he'll get more progres-
" Hey uhm, is y/n l/n here?" i look at the direction of the voice to see a group of five? six? boys in the court door holding something? i disregarded it since it may just be one of those suitors who literally tRY to get with me. not in the mood for relationships right now sorry.
" what do you want with our y/n?!" Yamamoto glared at them, oh my god sometimes he's just so dumb.
"we just wanted to stop by, and um. confess to her!" one boy said while gesturing to what they were holding, it was a letter and a box of chocolates. why spend money for me? im not interested oh my god.
"i think you sh-" "what do you want?" i cut yamamoto off and one boy just winked at me, what the??
"listen here misters. im not interested in any of you so back off." i said and was gonna turn back until.
"you're not even that pretty." one of the boys said and kuroo and lev who was watching the entire time immediately glared at them and some of the boys became scared.
"and you're just a waste of space so fuck off will ya?" i spat and closed the court doors. i walk back and mika and amelia immediately approached and high fived me.
the ball came towards me and i immediately set it to lev. i looked to see if lev spiked it and he did but outside? thats sad. the other people practicing at the otherside of the court immediately looked when i practically sCREAMED congratulations. WHY NOT IT WAS SO LIKE RARE AND I WAS PART OF THE EXPERIENCE THAT MADE IT HAPPEN. okAy um anyways when they went back to their daily lives i calmed down and coach immediately called me.
"y/n, you were a former libero right?" coach asked and i nodded. "can you teach lev on how to receive?"
"calm down lev, I promise its not gonna hit you if you do it RIGHT" i said as i was trying to help lev. i feel so responsible for this idiot i-.
"IM SORRY Y/N SAN I'LL DO BETTER" lev blurted out and started to shake. i immediately felt bad and tried to comfort him. did it work? i dont know.
we practiced receiving until like 6 pm and now im sitting on the floor, waiting for coach's announcement since he said he apparently had one. i was drinking water and i was leaning on kuroo, yes that's how tired i am. lev is so tall and I have to BE the one to train him? i wanna cr-
"right, we have an announcement to make!" coach smiled and looked at kuroo.
"the boys volleyball team will be having a practice match on friday. you l/n, you're the manager. don't be late" coach said and i pouted.
"coach what team are we playing against?" yaku asked. probably just someone from miyagi or something.
"fukurodani." and I immediately looked at kuroo and he looked at kenma.
"that's it, stay safe you all." coach said and stood up and left. i feel like i can pass out right here right now. why fukurodani?
"FUKURODANI? IM SO EXCITED TO BEAT THEM!" yamamoto punched the air but i was too busy with my thoughts.
