Beth walked over to Chris. She was going to talk to him about yesterday and the litch. After the fight yesterday, everyone went into there room and no one talked.
"Hey Chris...we had a great fight yesterday. I think we make a pretty good team..." Beth said to Chris.
"Yeah, heh...Ya know, I never really thought we would ever get together or, whatever this is. I always thought you were just my golden girl, my dream girl, in the back of my mind." Chris said carefully wording it to not sound as perverted... As Beth might have thought.
"I know. It was easy to tell, but then it hit me...you're the one." Beth said quickly to assure Chris that she understood.
"I found this, and I wanted to give it to you." Chris said taking a bracelet like thing out of his pocket and motioning for Beth to take it. "I found it after the battle yesterday."
"Thanks." Beth said smiling. She turned and walked out.
"Yep." Chris said, with a hint of disappointment in his voice. He thought of the quote by John Lennon, the one about happiness...
