My existence was merely futile,
A soul being held hostile
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide;
Past tears have already dried
Yet no cure existed for such a malady
By and by, you came by
Then I thought, "Just another guy"
But no, your eyes reflected the vivid sky
The longer I stared, the longer I healed
I shivered at your sight, trembled with bliss
Only a fraction of my soul left;
Yet you caressed it gently, whispered softly
With this kind of love, you taunt my entity
Afterall, you became my identity
When all are asleep, I lay awake
Possessed by your thoughts,
Yet feeling at peace
Day and night, my love for you never cease
My heart beats at the fate you made,
That moulded me unafraid.
Even as we walk this tightrope
You light me up with unbearable hope
You've taught me profound emotions
That's mightier than the seven oceans
Whose waves devoured the dark reality
Above all, you became my gravity
