pt 2// Old faces

Waking up from the same nightmare again I drank a glass of water.
"When are these nightmares going to leave me?" I signed as I always gets nightmare whenever I'm nervous or upset.

I got ready for the university thinking again and again about the previous nights events.

"I'm sure that it was you jungkook" I said to myself as a tear escaped my eye. I wiped it up and hastily left for bus station.

I was eagerly waiting for that eyes to appear but they didn't as the bus arrived I sat in and he wasn't there.

I reached the university and saw lina already waiting for me at the gates.

"Hey what's up ?" I asked smiling at her.

"I'm totally amazing today. You know tomorrow a concert is happening at the university after classes." She squealed happily.

"Concert.. He would definitely be there." I thought to myself although I didn't wanted to see his face after that day but I didn't knew there was something in me which was hoping that guy to be jungkook.

I took my third class with lina and it was now maths class in which I was all alone.

I entered the class and bumped into a guy making myself to fall back. Luckily he held my waist and saved me. I opened my eyes and shock went over my brain.

The guy who saved me was jimin, my childhood best friend and JUNGKOOK'S friend as well. The shock was also clearly evident in his eyes as well.

He softly pulled me up and I straighten myself. He was just looking at me , there were a lot of emotions in his eyes but hurt was the most evident one. I turned my eyes to side and found other five Old faces as well. They were all looking at me with the faces of hatred and hurt.

"Y/n.." Jimin said softly as a tear was about to escape his eyes. I lowered my gaze in guilt as I knew what I did was wrong to them.

The professor entered the class and it broke our moment as we settled to our seats. I sat two seats ahead them so that I wouldn't have to face them but I could sense them staring at me from behind.

We were in the middle of lecture when the door opened with a loud bang. I looked upwards and found that guy entering the class.

"Wait mister you're already late and can you pull over that mask of yours! "Professor said in a loud tone.

He rolled his eyes and made eye contact with me while pulling his mask over. My heart beat raced when I saw his face. It was him. I knew. It was jungkook.

He turned his gaze away from me and faced the professor with rage and anger in his eyes. Processor got a bit scared of his aura and signalled him to sit.

He made his way to the seat which was 2 seats behind on my left, next to the window and opposite to other guys. I was a bit confused as to why he didn't sat with the others.

I turned around to found him already staring at me. It looked like he changed a lot. His eyes weren't showing any emotions they were cold as ice. His face was bruised and his completely black attire was making him so different from the jungkook I knew.

I turned back to my work stopping myself to not make the same mistake again. As soon as the bell rang I quickly made my way out avoiding everyone.

I saw lina at the gate waiting for me. I quickly walked towards her.

"Hey what happened ? Why are you walking like someone is chasing you?" She asked concerned.

"Nothing, its just.." I got cut of by the horn from behind. I turned to found the guys car behind me and tae continuously pushing the horn while looking coldly at me.

Lina pulled me on the side. "What a jerk!" She said

"Lina, will see you tomorrow. I'll leave now ,its already getting so late and I also missed my bus again. " I said as I bid her goodbye.

I was walking by the lanes again but this time I didn't heard punching sound I was feeling like there was someone following me.

I turned back but found no one so I sped up my pace. Suddenly someone held my wrist and pushed me towards the wall.

"What the hell leave me?" I struggled in his grip.

"You saw me yesterday, don't you?" He said and I realized it was the same guy who was beating jungkook yesterday.

He was getting closer when someone punched him and he fell on the ground. It was jungkook.

"Leave ! "Jungkook yelled at him and he got up to punch jungkook but a car stop by and he left while cursing at jungkook.

Jungkook held my wrist and harshly pulled me towards him.

"You're such an idiot. Don't you know its not safe to walk by alone at night on lonely streets daily ." he said looking intensely at me. We had an eyelock for what feels like years when I realized the reality and broke it.

"Leave me jungkook!" I yelled and pulled myself out of his grip.

"It was nice to listen my name from your lips after years y/n." He said smiling at me.

"I pity! That the feelings are not mutual." I said as a tear escaped my eyes and I left from there.
