"Wake up. Wake up". I open my eyes and I see my dad sitting on my bed. He looks at me and says:
"Get dress, you don't want to be late"
"Dress for what?
"Hey, in what planet do you live in? It's Tuesday I'm taking you to school."
"I don't want to"
"You don't to what?"
"I want to go on the subway today."
"I don't care, get dress"
I hate him; he's trying to ruin my opportunity with Megan. What part of I don't want to go, does he don't understand? I hate him showing up in here trying to control my life. He has never care about me, and now, suddenly he gives a damn.
"Where are you taking me"- I yell.
"To school!" - He says as he walks out of my room.
I put on the Bulls jacket and the Bears cap. I go down stairs and I hear my parents talking. I stand by the stairs to hear what kind of crap they're talking about me. My dad says:
"I think he's just passing through a tough age. I kind of understand where he's coming from"
"Yeah, well talk to him then, don't expect me to do your job too." -Says my mother with high tone.
"Hey, hey I do my job, I do my part, but you don't understand. He doesn't want to talk to anyone, not to me, not to you, anyone. He wants to be left alone."
"Well I disagree; he needs to talk to someone. To some doctor or something. He needs someone that will listen."
"I listen, I listen more than a fucking doctor would. You think he's going to brag about his feelings to some stranger? Are you sure he would do that?"
"Well if you already know what to do Mr. fucking high and mighty than do it, I don't care.
I walk pass the stairs and into the kitchen. "Are you ready" my father says. "Yeah" I say with no emotion what so ever. "Well then, let's go." My mother tries to kiss me, but I turn and I open the door leading to my father's car.
"Is it open" - I say
"Yeah, I'll be there in a minute. Let me talk to your mother first."
I wait in the car patiently as I open the window to see if I could hear something. I want to see Megan. Who the fuck he thinks he is to tell you how to live your life. Megan is probably wondering where am I. My dad walks to the car, opens the door and gets in. He starts the car and drives toward the school. Everything is quite, too quite, I can hear the A/C.
We get to the school. He didn't say anything all the time we where there. I say goodbye and he said it too.
7 hours passed
I need to go to the subway, I need to see her again, at least see her. I walk, I enter and I sit. I don't see her around. I lay my head on the window. I see the light of the tunnel pass me by. I hear the doors opening, I look and once again I'm disappointed. I lay my head again, until I get to my stop. The doors open and I walk out. I look around, but I don't see her.
I get to my house and jump in my bed. I couldn't see her today, but I know I'm going to see her again.
