I knew my opponents would only be stronger the more I fight, but luckily the more I fight the more powers I acquire. Now I possess the power to create blades, produce flames from my hands, and now the ability to alter my appearance. I was one step closer to kill every single one of these serial killers.

I was becoming an expert at transporting through the portal. I landed perfectly on my feet in the pyramid and didn't expect the two gods to be at each other's throats when I teleported through the other side. "That is unacceptable Maledictus you already caused enough devastation and you weren't suppose to mingle with the life of the Earthlings."

"It's cramped in here, we've been here for years..... We need to stretch!" I walked over to get a closer look, but stayed several feet away to not be in the middle of it.

"Don't make me repeat myself Maledictus, our superiors will not be happy with this once they find out." My ears twitched at the thought of there being even stronger and bigger gods. I couldn't imagine anything bigger than Theurgis.

"Don't waste my time with this nonsense Theurgis. We've already broke the rules...."

"WE? You mean you, I'm trying to clean up your mess. If it wasn't for you we wouldn't be in this situation." I noticed Theurgis was growing enraged. A once tranquil and peaceful god became angry.

"I believe we shouldn't be trapped in this rat hole. We are gods aren't we? Why don't we act like gods?"

"Enough of this Maledictus, it is out of the question. Our mission is to observe human act...."

"I say forget our mission, let us have some fun with this pitiful human race." Maledictus stormed off farther into the pyramid where the darkness was.

"What's going on?" I asked Theurgis and walked up to him.

"It's nothing Dan, just Maledictus and his normal routine. We need to get on with the mission." The alien god began to walk towards the glass screen.

"What happened to the woman I sav....." before I could answer I noticed her standing next to the screen.

"We have much to discuss Dan, our next target is running rampant and is killing without mercy." Theurgis pushes buttons on the screen and pulled up a cityscape filled with police cars. Some were flipped over and on fire. There were injured cops and civilian bodies laid in the streets.

"Wow, one man did all this?" I was shocked and could see the woman I saved turn her head away. "I must leave immediately."

"I'm coming with you." The woman spoke softly with tears in her eyes. She looked at me and I knew she was serious.

"What?" I asked because I already saved her once, I felt like she'd just be in the way if I took her with.

"I'm coming with you." She spoke again with a firmer and louder voice.

"You can't little lady. I'm sorry, it's to risky. You'll die out there."

"The name is Cindy, not little lady!" I noticed that Theurgis was able to heal her so she wouldn't die, but it left a nasty scar. Theurgis was growing weaker. "I'm coming with you and you can not stop me."

"No, I can't let you. You won't stand a chance out there." I remained steady with my answer. I didn't want anymore innocent blood on my hands.

"I will be able to stand a chance, Theurgis imbued me with magical powers and I have been watching your battles. Give me a chance." She stayed commuted with her bravery, but I just couldn't let her go.

"You gave her powers Theurgis? Why would you do that." I began to yell at the almighty god, questioning his judgement in the woman. "She cannot come with me, it is not negotiable."
