Lance was in a rush as he was immensely late to class. He'd been up the previous night studying with Allura and the gang. He heading towards the exit of the all boys dorm room, draping his bag over his shoulder and making sure his bat was secure before he descended the entrance stairs to his building. His professor was going to definitely tare him a new one with what time it was

'8:35' was read on Lance's watch as he grit his teeth when he ran through campus, finally arriving where he was intended to be he made his entrance, silently slinking into the classroom.
His professor took no time to call him out immediately, using him as an example of people who don't take collage seriously. He couldn't help but roll his eyes at this display his peofessor was putting him under when he knew exactly how that man acted outside of the classroom. Takashi Shirogane was his Phychology professor, and his best friends older brother to add. He'd known him since he was a little kid and Shiro was about a freshman in highschool so he wasn't too worried, he'd knew that the big lug would come apologize to him after class.

Shiro's class seemed to drone on forever, though luckily for Lance it was his only class for the day, he liked his schedule like that. Nice and simple, of course if he wasn't always late that was. He was already making an A in this class though so his lates were typically brushed off, his other classes were about the same as well. He was in his junior year of collage and at this point he had a bit of a reputation as a baseball star amongst his collage. He used to play football in highschool but that didn't work out for his stature to well. he was more bone than skin and the first time he got tackled he broke his leg. needless to say baseball was a much better fit for him.

"Lance. I thought we talked about you being late." Shiro's voice brought him back to reality, he hadn't realized the class had already ended. The large and lovely filled out man was crouched next to his seat, lightly looking at the half written notes on Lance's laptop.
"You know I don't sleep well at night.." Lance piped up and closed his laptop, the light shut off as he did.
Shiro sighed and lifted up, making a suddle groan as to indecate he was getting up there in age even though he was only in his late 20's.
"I'm well aware of your poor selfcare. How to you expect to be a child therapist if you can't even get your own mental health in check, it also doesn't help that every night you're tied to my brothers hip, partying, drinking. My brothers poor actions shouldn't affect you. Not to mention Allura is constantly worried about you, she says you haven't texted her back in three days."
Lance lightly sucked in a breath as his girlfriend was brought up, a sort of sick feeling churning in his stomach.
"Look Takashi. I've been going through a rough patch.. she said she understood that."
The man shook his head, pushing up his reading classes and fixing his tightly fitting sweater.
"She deserves to know."
Lance huffed a bit before shoving his laptop in its bag and pulling it over his shoulder in one fell swoop, getting up from his seat, his brow was already twitching with growing anxiety on the topic the larger was trying to bring up. He hated that Shiro knew him so well.
"I told you before its nothing. I'm happy with her, and that party was a mistake. Keith and I both agreed that it should be kept that way."
"Lance-"
Before Shiro could finish his sentence Lance already had his backpack on and was heading towards the doors to exit the large classroom.
"Thanks for the Phych evalluation Takashi, but i have everything handled." With those last words said he was already off to the library to meet up with Pidge, Hunk, Allura and Keith.

He pulled out his phone as he walked, scrolling through the group chat messages he missed while he was in class. He snorted as he sent a gif of a cat running indecating that he was on his way. That was the only way he'd talk to Allura these days, sending her gifs or only talking in the group chat so he wouldn't have to face her alone. If he was being honest with himself he did feel a bit guilty about the way he was treating her. But he also felt like if he did talk to her, he'd slip up, and ruin things for the both of them. He'd decided after that party, after everything that'd happened between him and Keith would stay locked away in the confinds of his mind, though talking to him too was still a bit hard, though it came a lot easier then talking to Lura. Breathing out he put his phone into the front pocket of his paint stained skinny jeans, walking up the steps of the library and pushing one of the heavy doors open. Making his way into the bulding and looking around for his friends, not surprisingly what lead him to them was Keith and Pidge arguing over what book in the Percy Jackson series was better.
