The next morning the core four sat eating in the great hall. Well except for harry. "Take a bit of toast mate go on" Bea smiled at rons encouragement. "Ron's right harry. Your gonna need your strength today" Harry looked at bea who sat next to him then to hermione "I'm not hungry" Snape appears at the table "Good luck today potter. Then again now that you've proven yourself against a troll a little game of quidditch should be easy work for you..even it is against slytherin" he turns to look at bea "Good luck today mrs. Lupin, be careful" Bea nods at the professor with a small smile as snape limps away. "That explains the blood" harry mutters.
"Blood" hermione questions "Listen last night i'm guessing snape let the troll in as a diversion so he could try and get past the three headed dog. But he got himself bitten that's why he's limping" Hermione looked at her best friend confused who just shrugged. "But why would anyone go near that dog" beatrice reached over and grabbed a strip of bacon. "The day i was at gringotts hagrid took something out of one of the vaults. He said it was hogwarts business, very secret" Hermione smiled at bea for a second before turning her attention back to harry. "So your saying " Hermione trailed off "That's what the dog's guarding. that 's what snape wants" Bea shook her head "That doesn't seem right maybe he was trying to stop another professor from trying to get it" Harry went to respond but Hedwig and Tawner screeched catching their owners attention.
Tawner Drops a parcel and 3 letters in front of beatrice. She pockets the letters and stares at the parcel. "Bit early for mail isn't it" Hermione remarks looking over the packages. Bea picks up the note Attached to the parcel
Don't open the parcel at the table, it contains a new nimbus 2000. It's likely mr. potter didn't read the note attached to his parcel. Open this in the comfort of the dorms
M. Mcgonagall
Bea watches as harry does exactly as Mcgonagall said he would do and smiles. She looks over at mcgonagall and smiles in thank you as the professor strokes the owls. "Bea open it" Ron pushes going to tear at the parcel. Beatrice catches his wrist gripping gently "Ron, i love you, you know i do, but you touch the parcel and i'll feed you to the squid in the black lake" Ron pulls his hand back with a nervous smile as harry looks at her wide eyed at hermione looks at her with a smirk.
Bea picks up the parcel with a sweet smile and walks out the great hall. Draco looks after her and stands following her out of the hall. Ron and harry saw him follow the brunette and stood up. Hermione pushed them back down and gave them a stern look
"Bea" Draco calls out, bea whips around and smiles at her cousin "Dray" he grabs the parcel of her hand gently and sets it against a near wall. Beatrice looks at her cousin confused, but smiles as he pulls her to his chest "I'm so glad your ok, i heard about last night" bea didn't question it and returned the hug. She looked up at the clock and pulled away.
"I'm sorry Dray but i need to go get ready for the game" he nods with a small smile. She walks to her dorm and opens the parcel brushing her hand over the shiny wood before placing her letters in the drawer of her nightstand and racing down to the locker rooms to change into her jersey and gloves. She slips on the jersey with LUPIN BLACK 16 on the back. Before making her way to her other team mates.
