Dr. Lillian Everedge's POV:

I quickly removed the phone from my pocket as it began vibrating up a storm. I pressed it to my ear and prayed for the best. "Have you found her yet?" I asked quietly. "No, Lillian. She's just disappeared." I sighed. "How's the nurse you found doing?"

The voice on the other end crackled. It was a stunning example of our crappy service here at New Gradys. I cursed as the line cut out and a single beep notified me that the call had ended. I shoved my phone back into my pocket, not even caring enough to call Dr. Martin back.

I slammed to a sudden stop as the lights started dimming slowly. "Mary?" I asked cautiously. "Its okay to come out now. Constance and I wish to help you." I called out into the shadows. Soon, the shadowy corners of the hallway began to look like there were people in them. I could feel my heart speeding up.

"Mary?" I asked. I heard dry laughter as a woman stepped into the lights. I wouldn't have been able to tell she was a ghost if it weren't for her blood covered face. The blood covered up enough of her face that it was nearly impossible to identify her. But the blood was dried. It had long ago stopped bleeding. "Who are you?" I asked her. She chuckled.

I watched in horror as the lights cut out. Suddenly, something slammed into my back. I screamed as I felt the fresh blood begin to flow down my face. A new girl was sitting in front of me. "Goodnight, Lillian." She said sweetly. I screamed as a hot, searing pain began in my lower back and stretched to my shoulder blades.
