chapter 1 the mistake...

~y/n pov~

"y/n honey, don't kick your dad's seat while he's driving!" your mom shouted at you from the front seat you and your brother taehyung were forced to go on a trip with our parents, it was weird because they never took us on trips we always had to stay at home but not this time.

you had been riding in the car for about two hours and you really had to pee your parents refused to stop saying we were almost there but we never stopped, a car pulled behind us on the empty road and I could feel how uneasy my parents got.

"y/n taehyung, get down now!" your fathers loud voice made you jump a little but you did as you were told and got into the floorboard, you heard loud screeching noises coming from the tires like your dad was trying to stop, you felt a hard impact with something before your vision went black.

when you came to you heard people talking and bags shaking you slowly peaked open your eyes your head still spinning you seen your brother being lifted up and placed on a bed the person zipped up the bag he was laying on, you tried to call out to him but it was like your body wasn't working.

you felt someone shake you and you turned your head as much as you could, you heard the echos of his voice but it wasn't clear enough to make out what he was saying, you looked behind the guy beside you and seen your mother her face bloody with shards of glass sticking out it made you sick just looking at it.

then it finally clicked in your head you were in a car crash, your brother was dead your mom badly injured, and your father nowhere in sight... your vision started to fade again and your body went limp before everything faded into blackness.

~seokjin pov~

"it's done, boss..." jin sighed as he spoke into the phone he was hiding deep in the wood where he could see the scene unfolding on the road he was far enough away so they wouldn't spot him he needed to make sure that the job was really done and there were no complications.

"We have one alive over here!!" the words echoed in jin's head as his eyes narrowed into a glare looking closely to see who made it out alive, he seen two doctors lift the teen girl off the ground and onto a stretcher and into the back of an ambulance.

"jin?? what's going on over there!?" his boss yelled into the phone jin huffed in frustration "the daughter, she made it out alive I don't know her condition but it doesn't look good."  he finished off the sentence, and his boss yelled.

"How could she survive that! you better fix this!" the line went dead before jin had a chance to reply he ran his hand through his head and started walking away from the scene to get in the car that was waiting on the next road over.

~3 months later, y/n pov~

you slowly opened your eyes a sharp pain ran through your body and you turned your head to the side seeing a few people you never met before you looked up at them and the woman rushed over to you.

"y/n my niece I'm so glad you're okay! honey go get the doctor!" she looked at one of the guys behind her and he went out of the room "who are you?? why are you here? where am I? where's my brother!?" the woman looked at me with sad eyes.

"you don't remember me? y/n I'm your aunt, your father's sister!" I looked at her and looked around seeing that only me the woman who claimed to be my aunt and a random guy was in the room. "where are they? where are my parents!?" 

my aunt looked down tears filling her eyes making me more anxious "their dead y/n... you were the only one who made it out..." my eyes widened as the memory of the crash replayed in my mind the door swung open and the guy and a doctor came in.

"miss y/n, glad to see your up from your coma, how are you feeling??" I looked over at my aunt and she nodded waiting for my answer impatiently "I don't remember anyone here...my body hurts everywhere..."

"We were expecting a little memory loss but you can remember anyone?" I shook my head looking over at the two guys in the room the one standing beside my aunt must be my uncle and the one in the corner must be their son right?

"well miss y/n, after this week you should be able to go home, your wounds healed while you were in your coma and you can rest and try to remember everyone. I'll be back to check on you later." you watched as he left the room your aunt spoke up.

"your uncle and I will go get you something to eat, rest up." I nodded as they left the room the guy looked up at me with his hands in his hoodie pocket "you don't remember me, baby??" I shook my head.

"I'm seokjin...your boyfriend." I looked at him confused I don't remember having a boyfriend how could I forget about my own boyfriend?? "we've been dating for a year now, I rushed here after I heard of your accident..."

"i-i'm sorry if I disturbed you..." he stood up and walked towards you when he reached the side of your bed he lifted your face with his finger "never apologize for something like this, it wasn't your fault." he bent down and pressed his lips on yours.

"I love you y/n-ah..." he laid his head on mine and I smiled weekly "I love you too..."

~2 hours later jin pov~

"So did it work?" the man spoke quietly a cigarette held between his fingers as he put the filter to his lips "better than I thought It would, she couldn't even remember her own family." the guy chuckled and threw down the cigarette.

"where's the money? you said you would have it but I don't see no bag." jin chuckled rubbing his foot on the ground with his hands in his pockets "about that...there is no money, but where you're going you won't need it anyway." jin pulled his gun out that was tucked in his pants and shot the guy who was running down the alley.

jin tucked his gun back into his pants before turning and walking away with a smirk on his face, he got into the car that was parked in front of the alley and the car pulled off spinning tires as it pulled out the hospital parking lot.
