lately i've been getting messages from various people claiming to be an editor for a story, asking if they can share a few chapters with me; and i'm wondering if those messages are legit??? lol i never answer because i'm kinda scared to find out what they're about to send me like what if they send me a spell or something and if i read it something bad happens to me
has anyone else been getting messages like this? and if you actually let them send you their chapters or whatever, are they real story chapters or do they send something else because i wanna know but not by personal experience......

i've also been receiving messages about participating in some short story contest. idk about that one either but it seems slightly less sus as the "can i send you some chapters" ones. i still ignore them though ah ha ha
