Chapter 5: Ten Years Later

Ten years have passed since the passing of Zenalia Laytun'Farr and the siblings have grown well to follow their mother's hopes, Celeste learning magic and studying the village's history constantly in the library and Xenith deciding to use the cave to train his physical skills for just in case he's put into a situation where he needs to fight of course, mourning the loss of their mother within the first couple of years but, still have the willpower they were able to move on for her sake to follow her expectations.

As for their father, Zayfur he took her passing hard and with each passing year he slowly distanced himself from his children relationship wise Xenith feeling more with himself than his sister for some unknown reason but, they both tried to cheer him up in anyway they could, Zayfur appreciating it but, still unable to close the distance that had been created, he had been out of the house most of the day doing his own things and also helping the village leader, Ramsey when offered help.

And the one lurking has been listening and keeping close eyes on our Aasimar, as they plan to strike soon for their act will be coming to a close soon as he now knows everything about Xenith and perhaps has always known everything from the very start.
