After I suffered through English with Danny poking me in the side and Tristan growling at me every two seconds, I made my way to math. Oh god I hate math. I was so terrible at it. I guess both Danny and Tristan had that class with me, because they followed behind me bickering.
"No, tomatoes are fruits, not vegetables " Tristan shouted at Danny, who shook his head. His brown hair flopped over his eyes as he laughed.
"No way man, they are defiantly vegetables!"
"Um no? You're wrong! They have seeds!"
"They're vegetables."
"Fruits!" It continued like that for awhile until I finally couldn't take it anymore. I glared at both of them, and placed my hands on my hips.
"They're fruits." I said, and Tristan smirked smugly. He smiled at me, and I got a tingly feeling at pleasing him. Cut it out, I told myself. You don't need to please him. Oh, but you do. I was ashamed to say that i really did want to please him. I wanted him to smile at me again, approval shinning in his eyes. What is wrong with me? The whole time I pondered this, Danny had been talking.
"Are you even listening?" he snapped at me and huffed. I smiled at him sheepishly.
"Um, yes?" He threw his arms up in the air and muttered something about "traitor." He then stomped away to math, leaving me behind with the devil himself. Awkward to say the least. I avoided eye contact and tried to keep myself invisible. It didn't work though a realized, as he brushed his shoulder against mine and tingles erupted against my skin. There's no way he could ignore me if he was feeling that? Right? Or maybe it was just me? Maybe I was some absurd girl who felt things that other people didn't feel. Or maybe he felt it too? I glance to my side to see him ignoring me as much as possible. He did however, brush his skin against mine as much as he could. Every time he did, the fireworks exploded. I fought shivers. How could he not feel that? I glanced at him again to see him looking straight ahead. His face was blank, a perfect poker face. Except for the the corner of his mouth which was curved up slightly in amusement. He thought this was funny then? I jerked away from him and stormed to math. He thought it was amusing did he? I'll show him amusing. I turned the corner that led to the hallway with the classroom when someone grabbed my wrist. I fought the shivers again.
"Let me go Tristan." I murmured without turning around to face him. I tried to jerk my hand out of his grip but he was too strong. "Let go." I snapped and this time faced him. His mouth was still turned up, and his eyes shone. I glared at him. "It's not funny." He chuckled at me.
"Yes it is." He smirked and i shoved him with my free hand. He raised eyebrow at me and snagged my other wrist. The tingles were driving me crazy, as they erupted on my other arm. "Let go, you stupid idiot." He stuck his tongue out at me, and begin dragging me to math. I gave up trying to fight, because there was no way i was going to get out of his iron grip.
"Come on you big baby, God knows what Danny will do if you leave him alone. Especially if hes angry at you."
"Angry at me? Why is he angry at me! I didn't do anything!" He smirked at me.
"Something along the lines of you being a traitor."
"I'm not a traitor Why would he think something like that! Did you tell him something was wrong with me! Oh my god you did, didn't you! Your nothing but a big meanie." I would have crossed my arms over my chest if he wasn't still using them to pull me along.
"Calm down babe, you took my side on the whole fruit or vegetable thing." Oh yeah, wait a second what did he call me.
"I'm not your babe." I said as we finally sat down. He chuckled a low sound. It sent shivers down my spine.
"What ever you say, babe." He said and I huffed. I finally noticed Danny sitting next to me I sprang up and ran to his desk.
"Danny I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to be a traitor i swear! Its just a tomato really is a fruit! But i didn't say it to pick Tristan side i swear! I don't even like him! He's nothing but a big bully who forces people to walk with him because he has no friends!"-"hey!"-" I'm really sorry!" I rambled on. "Please forgive me!"
"Hmm, lemme think about it." He said, stroking chin. "Umm, no." I gaped flabbergasted Didn't hes realize i was insanely sorry! I tried my best puppy dog face on him, and made tears well up in my eyes by pinching my arm.
"Please?" he shook his head and smirked. I turned to Tristan giving him the puppy dog face. "Make Danny forgive me." Tristan's eye soften as he took me in. He groaned.
"Danny, forgive her." Danny shook his head and smirked at me. How could he resist me face? Maybe Kayla's right. Maybe it really does suck.
"Tristan" i whined, realizing i sounded like a spoiled brat. But come on, i deserved forgiveness. "Forgive her." Tristan snapped, growling. I flinched from his tone of voice, but nevertheless Danny huffed.
"Fine, your forgiven on one condition."
"Danny." Tristan warned, at the same time that i said, "what, what what?" His answer was simple and one to be dreaded. He smiled lazily as his voice rang out smoothly.
"Kiss Tristan."
