I want to board a pirate ship,
Do a full 180 flip,
And become captain on board
The Jolly Roger!
I want to sing a lovely tune,
Or howl at the moon,
I want to be a mermaid,
Or a day-maid, like
Mary Poppins!
I wish upon a star,
Or dream of someone in a far
Away castle.
I want to be a princess,
Like sweet Cinderella,
I must, I wish, I want to be someone else!
I must defend our honor,
As a secret donor,
I will become a man to save
China!
I want to be Mulan!
I want to be a sea witch,
That everybody fears,
I want to be King Triton,
Who explodes and rips and tears,
Without any purpose, but
To help my darling daughter.
I want to share the glory!
Create my own new story
To share with the world
Of the simply boring girl,
Who became legendary!
I want all these things and more,
His world all do adore,
He was a man who created life and stories.
He's gone now, I'm afraid,
But the world that he has made,
Is everlasting in our eyes,
With each brand new surprise,
No matter near or far,
Thanks to Walt,
we will always
Wish Upon A Star.
