"A peacock is defeated by a warrior of black and white...."
The Soothsayer looks at the rulers of Gongmen City, her eyes showing pity. The Queen wordlessly starts to sob. The King pulls his Wife close.
"What can we do, Soothsayer? How can we pull him from his path?"
The old goat closes her eyes, "Its too late. He has already begun. It pains me to say that you both and I will not be able to do anything. But..."
The Soothsayer begins reading from her cup again, smoke filling the air, "One may be able to persuade him to stop, he can be saved if he listens to his heart and soul. The love of another will salvage and fix his soul."
The young Prince listens from outside of the room, silently scoffing. His parents... They never saw what he sees. Those fireworks, used for celebrations are so much more than toys. They were weapons. His parents will see that.
He walks down the hall, mumbling under his breath, "A warrior of black and white... Pandas." His eyes light up in sadistic delight, "Pandas... The perfect place to start... Mother and Father will see the power of fireworks and what they truly are."
The Young Prince gathers his Wolf army and leads them to their destination, "Destroy them all! Not one squishy panda spared! Women, children, elderly! KILL THEM ALL!"
The orders given, Shen's army springs into action. Shen watches from the sidelines as his army massacres every innocent living thing in the peaceful village. A bunch of yelps fill the air as the only warrior in the village attacks his men, shielding a mother and a baby.
The Warrior Panda shouts at the mother and child, "Go! I'll hold them off!"
Shen stalks the mother and child, pulling his blades out. Three of his men trail ahead snapping at the mother. They lose sight of her as she evades them.
"Find her!" Shen orders, "No one escapes!"
The female Panda crashes through the woods ahead of them and runs. Shen throws one of his throwing knives. The knife catches her knee. That is enough to throw her off balance. Another blade gets her other knee and she falls, blood soaking the ground.
She turns around to face the Peacock, "Why would you do this?" She begs for an answer.
Shen stalks towards her, "You pandas," he spits out the word like they're nothing but dirt, "have it so easy. Lazy, fat, and useless. This is the beginning of China's conquering and you will not witness it. You're finished, Panda. Kill her."
The wolves do as ordered. Shen sent out his minions to ensure that everyone was dead. He was satisfied. For now.
His parents looked at him in horror. The news had come to them after two days.
"Shen- How could you do this?" His mother asks, horrified.
"I was doing myself a favour, mother."
"You have shamed us, my son." His father says.
His father stands, his throne blinking in the sunlight, "You are banished from Gongmen City and may you never return."
"You will regret this. The two of you were never my parents." Shen storms out, leaving the city as his parents wept with grief and their grief would kill them.
