Mork POV
Discerning the fact that the Library is the place where silence tails it in itself even in an enormous crowd gathering. But the early morning silence would be weird enough to make me wonder about the question of the existence of a soul if I couldn't hear the noises of pulling out of the books.
standing behind the archive to weed out those books which aren't circulating for decades and impaired books at the behest of the archives assistant Mr. Gamon. And our university wants to recycle these books. New books would be bought by the library fund in place of impaired books.
Once again I glanced over the catalog which was handed to me by the library assistant. The catalog contains the names of unneeded historical books.
I have been looking for books for ten minutes which cover this catalog, however, I didn't find any books. Perceiving that five massive shelves contain historical books which were enough to make me think that it isn't as easy as I had thought it would be.
I wondered how's it going for Sun?
At least girls are felicitous adequate to get the easy work. As only they have to toss the impaired books in the cardboard box.
Hearing the pulling sound of the books. I wondered if the girls were tossing each book off the shelf into the cardboard. Nevertheless, simultaneously being an ancient library, I shouldn't be wondering. And not knowing when was the last time of the renewal of it.
I jolted as the phone vibrated. I shoved my hand in my waist pocket to pull out the phone. I know it's not an unnecessary notification as I always keep my unnecessary notifications off to keep popping up on the phone display.
Senior: good morning.
Seems senior is a morning person. Reading it, I thought it would be much better if I were sleeping this time as usual.
I typed him back.
Junior: morning.
Senior: what are you doing?
Junior: gotta some stuff to do.
Senior: what stuff early this morning?
Junior: unfortunately, can't tell. talk to you later.
Senior: okay! I know you can't tell. But let me know if you need some help.
As if I would ask him.
I put the phone back. After a while, I was able to find books. I checked the time on my wristwatch, around 8 am. Still, one hour to go. I let go of a long sigh.
"Hey, Mork, need some help?"
Sun asked as he approached me, and perspiring like me amid the Archive.
"Much appreciated, but what about your task?"
"Well, I'm done as the box is already stuffed." He came close to me to get a good look at the list.
"Give me the list," he said, I was about to say, that if he takes the list from me then how will I look for books? But he pulled out his phone. And I handed him the list. After taking a picture he returned the list.
"I will look this way, it seems the history section is taking so long, huh." He gestured to other shelves.
With the help of Sun, I again began to look for the books.
If he shows this kindness to girls, then no girl would find him non-approachable. Sure, girls admire him but don't dare to approach him much. Anyway, it's no use for girls as he already belongs to someone. Perhaps, that could be the reason, he is none approachable.
