From the moment Jin stepped foot out of his car, he continued to groan and complain over how terrible the rest of his afternoon had been going. And his complaints weren't kept to himself, he was very vocal about them.
"First my stupid blinker kept signalling me to turn left the ENTIRE ride back home, and I still haven't been able to shut it off. It's as if it stayed stuck right after I used it to make a turn. Weird.
Then, I almost ran over a poor black cat halfway here, which, I don't know WHERE it even came from, but POOF, it was right in the middle where I was trying to get by," The adult silenced himself when entering the house.
His roommate was gathering his music equipment and was pacing down quickly around the apartment, without noticing Jin had gotten home. The elder man grew cautious when watching Jungkook unknowingly rush towards him, caring such heavy equipment.
As the younger got closer, Jin gripped tightly onto the mirror and shielded it with his own body, protecting it until the younger passed by.
"BE MORE CAREFUL! I JUST BOUGHT THIS MIRROR AND I DO NOT WANT TO GO BACK TO THAT CREEPY THRIFT STORE AGAIN." He exclaimed from downstairs while rushing towards the bathroom to place the mirror up against the wall.
A pearly white smile radiated from the mirror as Jin carefully stared into the dusty mirror, while reaching out to grab a gently dampened cloth to clean off the remaining dust that was preventing the mirror from looking as elegant as it truly was.
"HYUUUUNG!!!!" Jin's hands shook and grew unsteady as he cocked his head up to stare at the mirror, then he let out a loud sigh, answering to Jungkook who had shouted his name from downstairs.
"THIS BETTER BE IMPORTANT, KOOK." He responded, growing visibly agitated by his roommate.
"COOK? NAH, I JUST ATE. But thanks anyways." Jungkook's joke made Jin relax as the chaotic duo shared a laugh and smiled at each other before Jin started playfully messing around with Jungkook's hair.
The brown haired man was trying to do the same in return, but Jin blocked him from laying a hand on his head.
"No, wait wait! My hair was styled perfectly today, so don't mess it up!" Suddenly, Jin's dark orbs grew watery as a sharp pain caused the adult to groan in such a strange way, that it made himself laugh out of how foolishly hilarious he found it.
The reason for it? Jungkook, his seemingly innocent looking roommate had just bitten down roughly on his left shoulder, earning a loud hiss, followed by a piercing screech from Jin.
"A-ALRIGHT! I'LL COOK FOR US TONIGHT. JUST L- LET G- AHA! KOOKIE!! STOP BITING! STOP BITING! AAAAAHHHH!! JEON JUNG- Ah.." Jin relaxed his tense facial muscles to release a sigh of relief when the younger boy finally retreated his mouth away from his clothed shoulder.
Jin immediately placed his hand against his shoulder, feeling the pain as he slightly pressed down on it, and staring at the large teeth marks that his teasingly evil friend left on him.
"I just wanted to let you know I'll working late all night. Is it okay if I produce my new songs and have you listen to them afterwards?" Jin relaxed, but not before nodding at the younger, and pulling slightly on his left ear to get back at him for biting his shoulder.
"Just make sure not to play it too loudly, because if this mirror shatters, I'll lock you inside of this bathroom and leave you in it with the sixteen years of bad luck!" He teased to frighten Jungkook, but the other wasn't even the slightest bit intrigued.
"Sixteen? I thought it was ten." He replied, curling his lips. Jin rolled his eyes, patting his own shoulder.
"Hey, if I have a mark this big on me by Tuesday when I go back to work, then I'll be shown on the cover of the new magazine looking like a dog used my shoulder as a chew toy!" The older growled, feeling the pressure on his shoulder start to weigh on him, as well as his tired eyes.
"It wasn't even that hard, Jin-Hyung. Remind me to bite down harder next ti- HAHA, okay I'm leaving! I'm LEAVING! AAAH!!" Jungkook wheezed loudly as Jin stuck his foot against his pants, ultimately kicking the boy out of the bathroom, before laughing.
When the males parted ways once more, Jin took a deep breath in, and held it for awhile before releasing it to relax himself until he was prepared to get inside of his warm shower.
"I'll be talking into you later on tonight, so don't you dare shatter on me." He playfully joked while turning over to face his mirror.
His clothing swiftly hit the ground as he stepped out of his pants to rid himself of everything else that was clinging onto his clothed frame before he could step foot into his warm, steamy shower.
Just as Jin was about to head in, he took one last look at the mirror and raised an eyebrow at it.
"Didn't I hang it with the golden part of the frame looking downwards?" Since the model had been so distracted while previously talking to Jungkook, he didn't pay too much mind to what he had done to his mirror.
But now the question remained on his mind: Did he truly hang the mirror that way, or is he hallucinating that something 'mysteriously' turned it over.
