Serena's pov

After school at the Ketchum home:

"He's sleeping again." I say we in shock. "Yep Ashy-boy fell asleep first thing when he got here." Gary state. Ash was sleep on the couch. "What going on with Ash he's usually more active." I say out loud to myself. "Stress and Ash's depression plays a big roll in this. You I'd say Ash was trying to kill hiself with a knife again. Right" Gary asked sitting on the couch across from me and Ash. I nod thinking the event Red told me about this morning. "Red told me I didn't really see what happen." "Speaking of Red where is he."  Gary asks. "Red told he and Ash had a fight during the incident this morning so he was gonna stay at Paul's house. Alain knows about but I don't think Ash does though"  I state. "And Paul fine with Red being at his house." "Yeah he was I know it sounds weird but he didn't have a problem with I guess Paul can be nice when he wants to. "  I Replied. "I Just hope the two of them are gonna be alright." Gary states looking at the celling. "Aww you care about them that's so sweet." I say. "No but Ashy-boy and Red not in a good mood who am I supposed to tease." Gary said obviously lying. "Mhm what ever you say Gary." I said grinning.

Then Ash started to wake up. "Hi Serena." Ash says looking at me half asleep. "Hi"  "Hey Ashy-boy"  "Hey Gary do you guys know where Red is." Ash asked. Gary looks at me sighs and looks back at Ash. "Red went to Paul's house to do a homework assignment and since it's 3:30 he'll probably be home before dinner." Gary said. I gave Gary a you lied look and he shot me a  what was I supposed to do look. Ash went in the kitchen and starts eating some chips. It so werid one day Ash doesn't eat and when he does eat it's all day. He could have eat 5 minutes ago then less than a hour he eating again. "Stress eating." Gary said noticing that puzzled look on my face.

With Red at Paul's house

Reggie's pov

"You need any help with your homework you've been staring at that paper for a while." I say sitting next to Red at the dinning table.  "Huh oh yeah I guess so. Hey Reggie do you and Paul ever have fights." Red asked. "Yeah sometimes with me and Paul being total opposites." I reply. "Ha yeah that's true....." Red said. "Look I can tell something happened between you and Ash today I don't what though."  I say, " but did you at least tell him your staying here the rest of the night."  "N-no I just assumed Ash didn't wanna talk to me ." Red answer. "Then go call him." I tell Red. He pulled out his phone an went to contacts but when he got to Ash's number he hesitates to click on it. ,"Red I don't know much about your relationship with Ash but if you leave what happen unfixed it will ruin the relationship you have. Trust me I know I made that mistake same mistake your about to make." I state. "I understand Reggie thanks." Red said. Then clicks on Ash's contact number.

Ash's pov

In the room I  was eating my third bag potato chips. I got a text from Red I text back.

R- Hey bro I'm sorry about this morning I staying the night at Paul's place so I'll see you tomorrow at school. Tell Alain that he better make sure you're alright and I'll be home soon so don't worry. Love you Ash

A- love you too Red.

I put my phone down feeling horrible after what I did to Red this  morning he still cares and loves me. "Pikachu pika pi" Pikachu said rubbing his face against mine. "I don't really feel like getting up just tell Serena to come here I don't like being alone."  I say. "Chu pika." He said then ran down stairs. "I need help." I whisper to myself. "Ash are you doing ok Pikachu said you wanted me." Serena asks sitting my side. I stay quiet and look into her blue eyes. "You're just like a baby Ash you need to be loved cared for someone to count on. But it's not a bad thing though." Serena says running her fingers through my hair.  "You know Alain got off early you should go say hi instead staying wrapped up in a blanket all day." C  me pulling my Kanto starter blanket from my body. "Mmmm" I groan pulling the blanket back over my head. "Fine we'll do this the hard way." I was jerked out my bed with Serena tugging me down stairs. 

Downstairs

"Hi Alain." I say. "Hey Ash how you feeling." Alain said. "Tired." I replied."you're always tired lately." Serena said. Alain chuckled at Serena's comment. I laughed too it felt good. I'd almost had forgotten this feeling of joy and laughter. Alain was shocked by it but just shared it off. "Well anyways Ash Serena I got some news I talked to the Ash and Red's manager and she said she wants you Red Serena and Yellow to preform a song together. This weekend" Alain states, "I already text Red and he said he's gonna call Yellow."  "I don't think I'm gonna go." I say about to walk back up stairs but Serena grabbing my hand. "Ash are you really gonna let what your going through stop you from doing the things you love to do." Serena question me. She let go of my wrist and waits for my response. "I-I can't I just can't." I say.  "You can you too, you just gave up that's what happen." Serena said coldly. "No I didn't give up." I yell. "Then what did you do then." Serena shout. "I DON'T KNOW WHAT I DID! I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE." I screamed. "Did you even try to figure it out." Serena said calming down. "No I didn't." I say in defeat. "Then try Ash everything that's happening is because you afraid of something. Me, Alain, Red, even Gary knows what that something is." Serena says, "But do you know what that something is that your afraid of." "I'm not afraid of anything nothing scars me." I state. "Ash Serena has point for once take off your armor let down your wall and be open." Alain said  "He's right you know." A voice said. I turned too see Gary. "Where did you come from." I asked. "Alain's room I was watching TV. But like I was saying Alain is right even as a kid whenever something bothered you. you'd just shake it off and tell everyone you're fine, even though you're not. We want to help you Ashy-boy" Gary said. "Fine, it's Dark Ash I'm afraid of if he comes back and controls me again and I might hurt you guys really bad." I say finally opening up, "And then if that happens I'll be alone."  "Ashy-boy your stronger than any motherfucking opposite demon A-hole you." Gary said. "Seriously Ash you risk your life for people and Pokemon." Alain said. "And your my boyfriend I wouldn't have chosen you if you weren't strong." Serena says. "You're a fighter." Serena states "it's in your blood Ashy-boy." Gary said. "So use your fighting spirit Ash and overcome your fear." Alain says. "I will." I replied pumping my fist in the air.
