Draco Malfoy Part 2

But it all went crumbling down terribly. It all happened so quickly, you couldn't even notice it at all. It was a normal day in the beginning of December, you had no idea that today would be as horrible as it was. You woke up, brushed your teeth, got ready, and walked out of the common room with Draco by your side. Once your classes were down for the day, you were alone walking to the Gryffindor common room when you hear Crabbe from behind you," Look at this idiot mudblood, all alone with no friends, not even any parents." You were about to walk away from him, but you hear that damn laugh. A laugh that was so recognizable, it couldn't be mistaken. You turn around to see Draco standing there laughing at what Crabbe said. You feel the tears wanting to come bursting out of your eyes. How could your best friend stand there and let that happen. "Are you going to do anything, you filthy mudblood, not like you can." goes Crabbe again. You see Draco laugh again and high-five Crabbe. Were you dreaming? Was this a nightmare? "Well, you heard him, go run away, nobody wants you here filthy mudblood," Draco's snarky voice says. "Draco," you loudly whisper in tears. You thought he actually respected you. You thought he cared about you. Tears start coming out of your eyes, you can't help it. You were going to pull out your wand, but walking away was enough punishment for him. He didn't deserve your hatred.

 You walk off and run into the forbidden forest bawling your eyes out wanting peace and you knew this was the only place you could get that. You have been crying for hours and it was finally dark. You felt so tired and decided to close your eyes for a second. When you woke up it was morning and you were in a different part of the forest. You were lost and had no idea where you were. How did you move? You hear a twig break and pull out your wand only to realize it wasn't there. You slowly get up and start sprinting as fast as you can, keeping an eye out for your wand. You have been sprinting for quite some time until you see something sticking out of the ground. You pick it up and it's Draco's wand. You knew something was wrong. You look around to see if anyone was around you and hear a distant scream coming from your right. You start sprinting in that direction screaming Draco's name. You come across a sudden clearing in the forrest and witness Snape and and Mad eye Moody standing over Draco with their wand's out. You pull out Draco's wand and point it at Snape and Mad eye and say a spell that leaves them wandless you then say a spell that send them flying back hitting a tree and tied them to it with another spell. You just took down two powerful wizards. That didn't matter as much as Draco.

 You sprint up to him with tears In your eyes. There is blood trickling out of him as you pick up his limp, cold, dirty body and rest it in your lap. You put your ear to his chest but you hear nothing. He's not breathing and he doesn't have a pulse. He was dead. What did Snape and Mad eye do? And why? Those questions were for a later time. You had to focus on Draco. In that very moment you realized you loved him, as your best friend. "Please, Draco, Come back," You plead. You feel your eyes start to bawl harder and then you feel this pain in your chest and you suddenly let out the biggest scream you've ever heard in your life and you start to feel the world shake and the wind start to pick up making your blonde hair start to go crazy. Slowly, your lap starts to warm up and there was no more blood surrounding you. You look down to see Draco's skin start to become less pale and you feel his breathing in your now warm lap.

 "Draco," you whisper. "Draco, are you there?" There was nothing, his eyes were still closed and there was still no movement. You knew he was alive. That was the best moment of your life. You slowly put his body onto the leaf filled floor and look over Draco hoping for any movement at all. You have no idea where you are so you can't get to the hospital wing. All you can do is wait for him to wake up. Finally, after what seemed like forever of you crying for him to wake up, you hear a tiny voice," I didn't notice your eyes were blue, Kat." You shoot your head down to see him laying there looking blankly up at you. "I thought you were dead," You softly speak to him. "I was," He says back to you. He explained to you that the whole school was looking for you all night and he took Snape and Mad eye to go and check the forrest. He said they found you and when they did Snape and Mad eye used a spell to make him still and they moved you to a different location and took your wand. When the spell wore off of him, he tried to fight them but they took him down and he dropped his wand. He explained that they brought him to the clearing in the woods where they kept him all night and then killed him with a spell. 

"How am I alive?" Draco asks you. "I don't know," you say. You two walk back talking about what happened the day earlier with Crabbe. "I don't think I'll ever forgive you," you softly speak. "I know, I just didn't want Crabbe to think I liked you," He says. "Well you don't, and now you've made me the most angry I've ever been at a human being," you say back to him. He never apologizes, just gives excuses as to why he did it. You stop walking and as soon as you do, so does Draco. "You are the worst friend in the whole world," You say. "I know," He says back. "Stay away from me, Malfoy, you only bring bad to the world, I don't know why I ever decided I wanted to be friends with you," you angrily say to him with tears in your eyes. You see the look on his face and you can't help but wonder what he's thinking. It's like you don't even know him. This is the side of Draco you hate. You just saved his life but at the same time you hate him with almost all of your heart, one slither saved for the love you have for him. You walk faster than him and hope he doesn't follow you. And then there it was. The feeling of a cold hand on your wrist. "Don't touch me!" You scream. You see his frowning face and feel that he was hurt just as much as you. You start to run and don't hear his footsteps behind you. 

As soon as you walk into the castle, You hear Dumbledore's voice come from behind you. "Katherine, come with me," He quickly speaks to you. You nervously follow him, you know what this is about, but you have no idea what he is going to say to you. You get to Dumbledore's office and sit down in the seat in front of his desk. "What were you doing in the Forbidden Forest, Katherine?" Dumbledore asks. "I was getting away from someone, and before you ask, it doesn't matter who," you say back to him. "And how did you defeat Snape and mad eye?" He asks you. "I disarmed them, and then sent them into a tree, and then tied them there," You loudly whisper back to him. "Well I know that!" He starts to get angry for some reason. You thought he was a calm person. "But how did you do it, these are some powerful wizards we're talking about here, you can't just do that that," He says to you. "I don't know, I just did it," You're getting nervous now. What was Dumbledore getting at here? "Ok, Katherine ho-," He starts. "Please, call me Kat," you say to him. "Ok, Kat, how did you bring Draco back from the dead?" Dumbledore asks. "How you you know about that?" You ask back. "I'm not stupid, I know things," He says to you "I just screamed as loud as I could and he woke up," You say. "You screamed?" he asked. "yes," You say back to him. "I see," he says back to you. He lets you go and you wonder how odd that was. 

You walk past Draco and you don't say anything to him. You then scurry to the Gryffindor common room and explain everything to Hermione, Ron, and Harry. They were worried about you, but it was anything too too concerning. A few weeks past of you not saying a single word to Draco and you can't help but feel a piece of you is missing. One day, you are walking past Dumbledore's office elevator thing and see Professor McGonagall and Snape going to Dumbledore's office. You were too curious to just walk by. It turned out Snape was under a spell and apparently mad eye was too. You go up to Dumbledore's office and listen to the conversation in the room.

 "She's getting too powerful," you hear Dumbledore say. "Yes, but she's just a girl, we can't just do this because we are afraid she's going to turn out like you know who. She's a kind person," you hear McGonagall say. "Yes, but there is always a chance, I see the same thing in her as I did in tom," you hear Dumbledore say. "I agree with Dumbledore, we can't take a chance, she could endanger the school and us," Snape says. Who are they talking about? You wonder. "Well, what do we do with her then?" Dumbledore asks. You hear Snape say back," We have two options with Katherine, we can expel her or if worse comes to worse, eliminate her to get rid of the threat," Your heart sinks. You can't listen to any more of it. You walk off crying with tears rolling down your cheeks and fear installed into your face.

 As you walk away from Dumbledore's office, you start walking quickly to get to Hagrid's. As you're on your way you see Draco staring at you with a look of concern. You start to see him walk over to you but you just keep walking. "Kat!" He screams to you. "What's wrong!" you turn around and scream," Nothing! I'm fine!" You know he's not buying it, but there was nothing you could do in that moment. You run to Hagrid's because you know Hermione, Harry, and Ron are there. You know you can't tell them, but perhaps they can make you feel better about your current state.
