3 years- Louis imagine 2

Louis' POV
I was standing in the drive way all alone. She said she needed time and she specifically said three years......... then it came to me she was being sarcastic. Stupid Louis. I mentally face palmed myself. I hopped in my car trying to find Y/N's car. I couldn't. Then I remembered. Y/N and Niall were good friends still he probably knew where she was. I called up Niall.
"Hey mate!" I heard his Irish accent as he picked up. "Hey Nialler ermmm where is Y/N?" "Ummm didn't you break up three years ago?" Niall asked "yea but I just visited my old flat where she was moving out and she drove away and now I can't find her" I explained "I know the new address she is moving into but mate I don't think I should tell you......" Niall explained "for your old mate" I pleaded he sighed and texted me the address. I thanked him and put the address into my gps. But first I needed to get stuff for my way of apologizing to her.
Your POV
I was unpacking at my new flat. It felt good to say that. My new flat. No old memories of Louis or any bad nostalgia. My best friend walked in.
"I saw Louis emmmm are you ok?" She asked as she came and sat on the bed.
"I am fine I mean it's been three years he probably moved on as did I" I replied
"Ok well if you need anything...... I am here" she said then walked out the room. I opened the last box which was jewelry. I opened my jewelry box and I saw a compartment that I hadn't seen before. I looked at it huh how come I haven't seen this before? Nvm let's just open it. I opened and found two rings with a note wrapped around them. I cautiously opened it , it read:
Dear Y/N,
I am sorry. I should of fought for our relationship I was dumb and I know when you read this you will probably be happy have a better boyfriend. When you two get married use these two rings. A gift from me to you as a sorry. The smaller ring was for you. The night we broke up I was going to propose. I wasn't planning to tell you because I was planning to marry you. Then management called and you answered my phone for me and heard everything. I figured management wouldn't split us up if we were married. And I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. But your happy now with someone else and all I want is for you to be happy. I am truly sorry. I wish you and your soulmate the best!

I wasn't aware that I was crying until I felt droplets fall on too my shirt. I looked at the rings. Then back at the note. I looked at the date in the corner. It was a year after we broke up. How did he sneak this into my flat? Idk but I needed to find him. I was about to turn around when I saw my best friend come next to me. She gave me a address I titled my head
"Go and bring those" she said pointing to the note and ring. I nodded and drove to the destination. It was beautiful. I was at the beach when I saw Louis standing in a tux next to a neatly set up dinner with the water and sunset in the background it was stunning. Leading to the table was a spread of rose petals. I gasped it was gorgeous. I clutched the rings and note and walked to Louis. He already knew what was in my hand and opened it.
"You found it" he said smiling. He took the ring. " you are the best thing that happened to me and I am glad you found this note before you found someone else." He said smiling I smiled at him. "Y/N will you marry me"  he asked smiling wide I jumped up screaming yes as he hugged me and twirled me around. We ate dinner and we eventually bought the old flat and moved back. He was right. I would be very happy with my soulmate but never in a million years would I think he was mine.
