Prolouge

My head is in full chaos but I'm thankful I manage to drive safely. I parked my car in my condo's parking and walk my way to my unit. It's a busy day in work.

"Ang aga mo naman?"

My cousin greeted me after I walked inside my unit. Tinanggal ko lang ang heels ko at nagpunta na sa kusina.

"I need some rest. Ang stressful, leche. May nagsabunutan sa office ko! Grabe, ang lala nila," I rant.

"Bakit 'di ka pa kasi lumipat ng company? Matagal mo nang balak 'yon 'di ba?" She sipped on her coffee she's holding.

"I can't do that right now. Mahirap maghanap ng new company. Wala sa utak ko ang mawalan ng trabaho ngayon," natawa siya ng bahagya. Chona's with me for a long time. "Asan siya, Chon?" I asked after drinking.

"Sa kwarto," she said while washing some vagetables. Magluluto na ng dinner.

"Ako na magluluto, Chon. I'll just change,"

Inirapan nya naman ako. "Ako na gaga."

"Sus, bait mo ata ngayon? 'Lang topak? Bati kayo ng jowa m-"

Hindi ko na natapos ang sasabihin dahil inakma niyang itapon ang tasang hawak niya.

"Bobita ka, 'wag mong mabanggit-banggit 'yung hayop na animal na kulang sa arugang manloloko!"

I made face and immediately run, galit na galit siya sa boyfriend- I mean, ex niya.

A small smile crept on my lips as I walk through the condo's hall. Hindi malaki masyadong unit but it's enough for us. We're living much peaceful and happily right now. And that's enough for me.

I found someone busy watching something on the laptop. Bahagya pa 'kong natawa dahil nasa study table ko siya nanonood.

"Hi!" Napalingon siya sa gawi ko.

Gusto ko na naman maiyak. But not infront of this creature.

"Are you okay?" Mahinhin nyang tanong, tila nag-aalala. Tears wont stop pooling in the side of my eyes so I jut nod and walk inside the bathroom.

Naligo na lang ako to ease the emotions that suddenly hit me. After all, it was an exhausting day.

Pagod na 'ko sa trabaho kanina dahil sobrang gulo sa office. Two fucking architects fought infront of me. Grabe, naturingang mga professionals.

My head is still in pain while running, holding some folders and my bag. I woke up late becuse I go to bed around 2AM last night to finish my report. I actually don't cram. It just happend that I noticed some errors on the papers my team send to me. Late ko na nakita so, I was rushed it. Though, I make sure our report wouldn't fail.

We'll be having a meeting today with the client of our company for the new project.  I haven't met the other people involved on this project except from my best friend, who's also an architect. I assumed we'll be meeting the assigned new Engineers today aswell because we need to discuss many things.

"Aw," my hand got a little hurt when I try to stop the elevator from closing.

"Hala, hala, sorry!" A man's voice said when it opened. Ni hindi ko siya matingnan dahil abala ako sa pag-aayos ng gamit.

I planned to pushed the 12th button but it says it's already going up there.

"Yna?" Napalingon ako sa lalaking katabi ko.
