"Here we go, again," I mutter to myself as I unlock the doors to the infamous Freddy Fazbears -Entertainment. One of our newest employees had a run-in with Foxy on day one, so they were transferred to a day shift upon request, so I now have to work nightshift occasionally until management can find a new employee.
I head down to my small box of a security office, glancing around the room as I do. It was empty, but filling. It gave me the usual creepy vibe of any dark security office, but the sounds of the power consuming fan, the tablet, and the metal slamming of my office doors made it bearable. I sit down and heave a sigh. I turn on the dusty old tablet and switch to camera 1A, watching as Bonnie powers on once the clock hits 12AM. I knew his usual route by now, so I would never give him much attention. I could hear the loud clanging steps of his feet as it is. I knew when to close the doors.
A few hours pass and now the clock strikes 5AM. One hour to go. The animatronics aren't too hectic, thankfully. Foxy only ran down the hall twice and Freddy has been roaming around the bathrooms. Bonny has only been at my door a few times, and weirdly enough I haven't seen Chica.
I stare at my right door, trying to eyeball any figure outside of it. I really don't want to turn my light on, I'm running on low power as it is. Another door shut and that generator powers off. 'God, can this hour hurry up already?' I think to myself, patting my stomach, 'I'm getting real hungry here. I should've bought snacks.'
I look at the tablet once more, quickly going over through each camera before stopping at the kitchen. There's got to be leftover food in there right? Knowing Fazbears, they probably reheat their food and give it to the families and kids who come here. I sigh, setting the tablet down and getting up. My stomach growls and I run a hand through my hair, debating whether or not if I should make a run for the kitchen. The rest of the pizzeria was dark, so I would have to stumble my way around the dining area. Would it even be worth it for some cold pizza?
I take a deep breath and exit through the east hall, running as fast as my legs could take me. I stumble a few times, tripping not only over a few strewn chairs, but also over my own two feet. There were rapid footsteps following me, making me force my legs faster. Closer and closer they got, and the more scared I became. I made a quick right and entered the kitchen, ducking behind some boxes of packaged foods. None other than Foxy ran in through the door, skidding to an ear splitting halt; the sound of metal scraping the floor hurting my ears. I bite back hissing in pain and keep still. He may be able to see in the dark, but surely he can't see through solid objects, right? Maybe I should've told the previous nightguard about these animatronics having a sort of bloodlust.
"Oi! Chicken!"
'What the hell? The fucking thing has different lines?'
"What, Fox?"
I tilt my head slightly, confusion riding over my face.
"The nightguard, they ran in here!"
"Foxy, the nightguard never leaves the office. Are you malfunctioning, again?"
Now this was batshit crazy. Those aren't prerecorded lines for the day, no, they're not lines at all. The two are having a full blown conversation. A full blown conversation between two sentient animatronics.
