Katsuki Bakugo Pov

We stood in front of a large shed, waiting for Kaminari to shut off the power. "What's taking him so long?" Mina asked in a worried tone. The power was still on, but we hadn't heard a scream or cry for help, so he shouldn't be injured.

"I'll check," Kirishima said, walking closer to the door. He opened it and quickly shut it behind himself. Not even 30 seconds later, the other two had started to get worried again.

"Fucking dumbasses," I muttered, walking farther away to lean on the side of the building. Mina and Sero joined me, sitting to my right. "Do you think we should check on them?" Sero asked in a worried tone.

"Hell no, they'll ask for help if they need it," I said, looking at my phone for the time. They sighed and looked at the door. For a moment there was complete silence until we hear a small sound

"What the hell what that?"

Buzz

"what's going on now?"

boom

The entire shed blew up, resulting in a massive fire. It all seemed to happen in slow motion. The heat came surging at our faces, Sparks flew in every direction, and the power went out.

I wanted to scream something, anything, but no words came out. We abruptly stood up, and just as we did, the roof collapsed, sending embers right into our faces.

My eyes and nose burned from a mixture of heat and smoke. I did my best to keep my eyes open and look for any sign that they were still alive.

My gaze drifted over to Mina and Sero. Sero looked dumbstruck while Mina stared blankly at the scene that played in front of us, tears silently running down her face.

"I told you not to touch that!" I heard a familiar voice yell from the flames. "I thought you said I should!" another followed. Their sentences were followed by coughs and wheezes.

Kirishima and Kaminari emerged from the building. We rushed over to them and helped the two to the side of the building, letting them get a breath of fresh air.

Kirishima's shirt had almost fully burned off, leaving just a few strands. Kaminari only had a few holes, but underneath were a few first degree burns, and some as bad as a second degree.

"Holy shit," Kaminari said, grabbing his side where a large cut lay. "Sorry man, I tried to shield you as best as possible," Kirishima said, "No worries, it was my fault," Kaminari said, trying to muster up a small laugh.

"I'm guessing that the explosion took out the backup generator also, so we should be all good," Sero said. "Alright, let's go then," Kirishima said, trying to get up, "Oh hell no, you two stay here," I said, pushing him back down.

I walked to the door, taking a peek inside before running in. Right across from the door was a storage room. The locks had deactivated, leaving the door to swing open.

There was just a bunch of medical supplies along with clothes. I got a doctor's coat, and clothes for both of them, along with antibiotics, bandages, and pain meds.

Once I got outside, I was met with curious eyes. Quickly, I walked over to the group and let them start to put on the clothes and dress Kaminari's wounds.

"Bakugo," Kirishima started, "Uh, Yeah?" I asked, "You should start looking, we'll catch up later," He said giving me a thumbs up. Without another word, I gave him a smirk and ran inside.

I took a sharp right turn to the stairwell, and opened the door, sprinting up the stairs. As far as I could tell, there was no one following me or heading my way, so I was in the clear.

As soon as I reached the top of the first flight of stairs, I ran through the door, beginning to search the floor, but the ward was empty.

All the doors were left open and carts with medicine filled the hallways. It looked like a regular hospital, apart from the fact that it was completely deserted.

If she had been here, she had already left, so I walked back to the stairs, going up to the next floor. The next one was just the same, apart from the fact that the rooms looked more like a bedroom than a hospital room.

On this floor though, there were no sheets on the beds, personal belongings, or even chairs. It was like they had never even opened the ward up. I made sure to examine every single room, but they were all empty.

With a long sigh, I raced up the next flight of stairs. At this rate, I would make it all the way up to the tenth floor without the others needing to do a thing.

Just like the last floor, there were no people, carts, decorations, but even weirder, there was no furniture. No beds, no chairs, the desks, nothing. My heart dropped as I came to the realization that she was most likely not there.

With panicked thoughts, I scrambled back to the stairs, tripping over my feet as I tried to get to the next floor. My heart dropped at the sight in front of me. It was just a plain white room, not a single wall on the entire floor.

Without hesitation, I opened the door, running up to the next floor. My legs ached and felt as though they were about to give in, but the pain in my heart was far worse.

The next floor was the same, along with the next, then the next, and the next after that. Tears streamed down my face as I ran up the stairs. I knew she wasn't on one of these floors, but I still had to check.

Sooner than I expected, I reached the top of the stairs. There was a large set of double doors, and the ceiling had caught up with me. It seemed like time had slowed down as I burst through the metal doors.

A gasp escaped my lips and the tears only fell harder. My mind raced and I fell to my knees. Somehow, a smile found it's way onto my face, as instead of her sweet smile, I was met with The Night Sky.
