Denki x reader fluff(cat cafe)

(sorry this took so long to update I've been busy with depression (:

lately in class, you'd noticed a pair of eyes that constantly kept place on you. you felt it in class, gym and even sometimes when you were hanging in the dorm. most the time you wouldn't be able to tell who it was for when you'd turn around you'd find no one even glancing in your direction.

one day in the middle of the class, you felt those piercing eyes again. they never came of dangerous but they still made you anxious. you turned around quickly to see Denki staring right into your eyes as you turned. he sat up quickly a slight pink dusting his cheeks as he looked away. you'd became quick friends with Denki since the start of the year and you thought he was really cool.

a small red brightened your cheeks as you noticed him staring at you, you turned back to the front and kept working. you'd wondered if it had been Denki staring at you all those times. you decided to let it pass as you may have just been paranoid.

a bit more into the class you felt something light hit the back of your head. it landed on the floor right behind your feet. you managed to grab it with your foot and move it in front of you picking it up without anyone noticing. you opened it and it read 'hey wanna go to the cafe across the street with me after school?'. you turned around and saw Denki with a nervous smile looking back at you. you nodded and smiled and saw his face light up happily.

after school, you got your stuff and headed to the gait to wait for Denki. to your surprise he was already there. "hey Y/N!" he smiled and waved. "hey Denki!" you called giving him a bright smile and jogging over to him.

you both started walking to the cafe in awkward silence. usually, the two of you would make jokes and have light conversations, awkward conversations were not your thing so you stayed quiet. 

you got to the restaurant and sat down swinging your legs slightly. it was a small cat cafe because why not. it had many plants and gave of a very cozy vibe. a small white kitten walked up to you and perched itself in your lap proceeding to snuggle into you. you smiled putting a hand down to gently stroke its head and along its back causing it to purr and denki to let out a soft chuckle. "this place is really nice" *he said looking around* "but i reckon it would be cool if they had frogs here to." he stated and you giggled "frogs?" "mhm! many frogs, they're small and all slimy but feel cool" he said giving a closed-eyed toothy smile bringing a light blush to your cheeks. 

you both ordered Denki getting hot chocolate and you getting whatever th hell you drink idk. you sat having casual chat for a bit until you had three cats on you snuggling up to each side. Denki moved beside you because he 'wanted more attention from the cats' and sat right next to you blushing a little. "sooooo, uhm, are you dating anyone?" he asked quickly looking away,  you responded with a small 'no' for him to look at you raising an eyebrow "do you want to date anyone?" *he asked to wich you quickly nodded. he leant over putting his head on your lap looking up with a smile "could i substitute for anyone?" you blushed nodding and responding with an immediate "yes" causing him to chuckle and lean up kissing your cheek "that makes me really happy" he said with a bright smile taking one of the cats and setting it in his lap gently patting it.

you two spent the rest of the day talking to each other giving small cheek and forehead kisses and patting cats <3
