Fanfiction Ideas That I'm Too Lazy to Write So I'm Giving Them Away

Akatsuki no Yona/Yona of the Dawn (Reader-Insert)

This idea is kinda vague and doesn't really have to do the actual characters of Akatsuki no Yona that much, rather the aspects of it. Also, this idea was really random and came to me when I was reading a really good reader insert (I'll leave a link at the bottom). (This is like the first idea that doesn't have to do with bnha I've had in a while lol.)

So in this idea, Reader-chan is the younger sister of Yona, at the age of like 14. She is just as sheltered at Yona is in the beginning, ignorant to the country's struggles. While she is close to Yona, she isn't as close to Hak and Soo-Won as her sister is. She doesn't have many, if any, friends in the castle, and is often envious of the friendship Yona has, however, she doesn't hold any resentment.

The night Soo-Won kills both her and Yona's father, she is in her room, about to get ready for bedtime, when all of sudden, these people (maybe like two or three, she's just one girl, right? How hard can it be?) she didn't recognize try to drag her out. She luckily escapes and heads to her father's room, where she finds his dead body (Soo-Won and Yona have already left at this point). She stares in shock before hearing Soo-Won's people-guards-whatever. She runs off, somehow escaping without being caught, and unfortunately, not finding Yona and Hak. She's on her own at this point.

She wanders, trying to stay away from the main kingdom where she's sure to be caught. Eventually, she makes it to a less populated village. She stays in an inn for a day or two, reluctantly doing chores to pay off what she owes, and she allows herself to grieve and think. She doesn't have anywhere to go and she's all by herself; no Soo-Won (she doesn't know he killed King II yet), Hak or Yona to depend on. Just before she goes to leave the village, she meets another character (which can be an OC that you make yourself). She asks to travel with them, and fortunately, they allow her to.

The two go on an adventure for whatever the character--we'll called them Yip because why not--for whatever Yip is trying to find or do (you come up with that! There's your cause for the book). Along the way, Reader-chan learns more about the country her father ruled and how bad certain parts were struggling, and both her and Yip meet other characters (more OCs, yay!) who may or may not join their small, adventuring party.

Reader-chan learns how to defend herself and learns how to survive. Maybe she even learns a bit of medical stuff, who knows, I certainly don't. She goes through character development, similar to Yona, and becomes a stronger person because of it.

Idk how your insert will end, only you can come up with. In the end, maybe Reader-chan and Yona will meet again. Idk. Have fun with this. It's a reader-insert where you can almost do anything with the aspects of Akatsuki no Yona while making it your own.

Whether or not you make Reader-chan a part of the Legend is up to you. However, you would probably have more opportunity and freedom if you stay away from it.

You could have a point where Reader-chan changes her appearance to keep from being recognized (ex, cutting her hair--there really isn't much you can do with little to no money, is there?).

To keep this a true reader-insert, I would stay away from deciding hair and eye color (what whatever else). To keep it more inclusive, avoid mentioning any specific details, such as pale skin or rosy cheeks; those characteristics are more pointed towards fair skinned people).

If you wanna change the gender of the reader, sure. Just know that if the reader is a male from start, they would probably be more likely to be king, which may cause some changes at the beginning of the story. Have them be whatever sexuality you want. Idc, just don't make anything rude or toxic please. (I'm going to keep referring to Reader-chan as she, hope that doesn't bother anyone.)

If you wanna add some romance, go ahead, I can't stop you, but remember that Reader-chan is younger than 16. She's pretty much still a child who is still finding herself, so the focus probably shouldn't be on romance. Maybe just add some hints to it, and make sure the love interests, if any, are around her age! 18 at most.

I can't really think of anything else tbh.
