Derek's POV
"Mr. Toller, I promise I'll turn those papers in tomorrow." I pleaded for what seemed like the hundredth time.
"No! Derek, you have been saying that for a month. Either I get the papers now, or I'm telling Coach Miller!" My eyes went wide. Coach hated if anyone was failing, and he didn't care if I was his star player. He would definitely kick me off the team.
"I don't have the papers Mr. Toller." I was beyond pissed, because he knew, for shit's sake everyone knew I didn't.
"Well then, Derek, you can go to lunch now. I will call Coach Miller and tell him." I grunted and turned to grab my bag and leave. Mr. Toller was an ass! He didn't have to call Coach Miller! As I was walking to my locker I saw my teammates picking on some girl.
"Knock it off, Blake!" I playfully shoved him away from the girl.
"Damn, Knight! I was just kidding with her!" He laughed. Ryan Blake, was my best friend and 2nd striker, of course I'm first. He left the poor girl traumatised by her locker.
"Ryan, going out tonight or are we staying in?" I nudge the weaker boy.
He shook his head chuckling.
"It's either the game, girls, or parties. Always, its like nothing else is every on your mind. Derek, do you even know what day it is?" He quizzed. It finally clicked.
"IT'S GAME.....day. Goddamn it. Mr. Toller knew it was fucking game day!" Ryan looked pissed.
"Coach, can't possibly pull you out the game before championship! You can't miss this game!" Ryan punched the nearest thing which happened to be a locker.
Then we heard a loud, very girly, yet scared scream.
"MY LOCKER!!!! You idiot, do you know how much trouble I'll be in for this?!"
Lacy's POV
Turning the corner I didn't expect Ryan and Derek to be at my locker, none the less expect Ryan to punch the shit out of it.
"MY LOCKER!!!! You idiot, do you know how much trouble I'll be in for this?!" I ran to my locker forgetting that they could make my life a living hell.
"Wow, slow down mute. I didn't even know you talked. Now for the locker situation, that's all on you." Ryan stated, Derek started laughing uncontrollably.
"Your both assholes, just leave already!" I whispered. Ryan seemed to want to make jokes today, so he continued.
"What was that mute? Did you say something?" He smirked.
I bit my lip before shaking my head no. I turned my attention t my locker, and hoped he would leave.
Derek's POV
Ryan, Kyle, and I, left the stadium after the game. Thankfully, Coach let me play. Although, until I'm passing I am not allowed to play. We all climbed into my car.
"What are you gonna do about your grades dude?" Kyle chuckled. I smirked into the rear view mirror.
"I have no fucking clue!" I laughed. Ryan, looked up from his phone with a devious smile. He showed Kyle his phone before speaking up.
"Lacy just posted pictures of her at the after game party with Cassidy." He said, I was still oblivious. I nodded for him to continue.
"She probably knows how to get the teachers to like you...." Kyle interjected. I was catching on, but still not knowing where this was going.
"Dear Lord, The plan: Ask her out, Everyone finds out, Teachers start liking you, you dumbass!" Kyle and Ryan both yelled the last part.
I laughed, and put my attention back on the road.
"No way in hell would she go out with me. She wanted to kill us today!" I protested a couple minutes later. Ryan smirked.... again
"Except, she is a good girl.... all you have to do is win her over. Promise it isn't a lie, and that your genuine. She will let you do whatever." Ryan explained. I thought it over as I pulled up to Kyle's house.
"I'll do it, only if you two help me! Blake.... Griffin..... you guys can't back out!" They shook their heads agreeing to the deal.
"Okay, lets do this. Step One, The Dare!" Ryan smiled!
