It was another blue skied day in Sapna Residence. The birds were chirping, butterflies were fluttering, and as usual, Karan Luthra was traveling to his office.
He put on his brown coat, zipped up his Adidas shoes, and gelled his hair. With a look in his mirror, Karan grabbed his briefcase and headed out his apartment door. He locked his house with his keys, and turned around to see three blue suitcases lined up at his neighbouring apartment's front door.
Karan: Looks like someone's moving in.
Karan looks at the suitcases, trying to figure out who was moving in. He heard voices talking getting louder as the people moved closer to him. A girl wearing a white salwar suit was coming up the apartment stair accompanied by a watchman. Karan sees the girl and was mesmerized by her beauty immediately.
Watchman: (giving her keys) Ye lijiye Madam, aapki apartment. Room No 215.
Girl: (smiles) Thank you bhai saab!
The Watchman leaves and the girl notices Karan standing in front of her door. SShe stands shyly, smiling at him. Karan smiles seeing her.
Karan: (forwards his hand) Hi, I'm Karan, you new neighbor.
Preeta shakes his hand blushing.
Preeta: (shyly) I'm Preeta.
The two smile at each other, wanting to talk to each other but confused about what to say. They stare at the floor in silence and awkwardness. After a long period of silence, Karan finally speaks.
Karan: Aapko meri madat chahiye? Luggage uthaane mai?
Preeta: (smiles) Nhi nhi, mai thik hoon.
Karan nods with a small smile and the unwanted awkward silence begins again. After sometime of just admiring each other's faces, Karan mumbles,
"Well I'll see you later then."
He starts to leave when Preeta stops him, wanting to spend more time with Karan.
Preeta: Ek cup dud milega? (nervously) Woh chai ke liye chahiye tha.
Karan smiles and nods, he leads her inside his kitchen. Karan pulls out his milk from the fridge and pours some in a glass. Preeta smiles admiring him from the kitchen counter.He hands the glass of milk smiling, which she takes.
As their hands brush against each other the two glance at each other feeling a spark between the two of them. Preeta spoke
Preeta : thank you
Karan : no need to say thanks
Preeta : uffff.. Ok
Karan : to ab mai chalta hu.. Btw yaha mere sath mera friend rehta hai. Kisi bhi help ki zaroorat ho to you can ask him.
Preeta : (smiles) ok. Now shall I leave
Karan : (unwantedly) sure..
Preeta leaves. Karan smiles and leaves for office too..

Karan had just gotten back home from work. He sits down on his couch, turning on the TV. Meanwhile Preeta was standing outside his door, about to knock.
Preeta: (in mind) What do I say? I really want to spend more time with Karan. He's just so cute and sweet, I'm just scared to tell him I like him.
Preeta takes a deep breath and knocks on his door. Karan opens it and is surprised to see her.
Preeta: (smiles) Ek cup dud milega?
Karan raises his eyebrow.
Preeta: (lying) Woh mujhe rasamalai banana hai.
Karan smiles and lets her inside, the two talk smilingly.
Karan while pouring milk in the bowl : preeta tum yaha se pehle kaha rehti thi
Preeta : pinjre me 😂
Karan : hain?
Preeta : matlab mere papa ne muje hostel me dala hua tha.
Karan : vo kyu.
Preeta : because unhe sirf apne business ki padhi rehti thi.
Karan : Ohh.
Preeta : tum batao apne bare me kuch.
Karan : mera khudka business hai. Aur main yahan apne friend ke sath rehta hoon
Preeta : tumhare parents?
Karan : mere parents indore me rehte hain.btw tum yaha akeli rahogi?
Preeta : nhi meri friend hai drishti vo bhi yahi rehti hai mere sath.
Karan: Ohh.
*Ahhhhhhhhh* a sound came
Preeran : ye to drishti/rakshit ki Awaaz hai.
Preeta : rakshit?
Karan : mera friend hai.
Preeta : lekin dono chilla kyu rahe hain chalke dekhe?
Karan : hmm ok. Awaaz niche se ayi thi.
Both goes only to find drikshit fighting like a janmo janmo ke dushman. Both were drenched in water.
Karan : rakshit ye sab kya hai 😶
Preeta :tu bhi bol drishti what is this?
Drikshit at the same time : isnemujetakkarmariaurhumsathmegurgaye
Preeran : hain 😶😶saaf saaf bolo kya hua..
Drishti : mai bolti hu. Is point towards rakshit khadus ne muje takkar mari aur phir hum dono hi pool me gir gaye.
Rakshit : ahahahha ek to beakal upar se andhi bhi ho tum. Mai batata hu karan ye ladki phone me dekhke chal rhi thi aur mujhse takra gyi aur pani ki wajah se hum dono slip ho gaye.
Drishti : ye jhut bol raha hai.
Rakshit : mai kyu jhut bolunga?
Drishti: kyuki tum ek khubsurat ldki se takrane ke bahane dhund rahe the.
Rakshit and preeta starts looking here and there. While karan looks at preeta 😂😶
Karan : preeta to mere sath thi.
Preeta : han
Rakshit :aur yaha koi aur beautiful girl to chodo girl bhi nhi dikh rahi hai..
Drishti : mai apni baat kr rhi thi..
Trio looks at each other.
