BACK TO SKYLYN'S P.O.V

I rush to Adams house to apologize for what I did to him. By the time I got there, there was another car there. Did Adam get a new car? or did Adams parents? I run to the door and knock like I was being chased by some creep and needed help.

Adam's mom came to the door. "Can I help you?" she asked

"Hi, its me Skylyn your neighbor. Is Adam here?" I asked

"Oh, yes he is, hang on a sec." She said

I waited patiently for him to come. When he finally came I got crazy butterfly's that I have never felt before. I was just excited to see his face again but he looked mad.

"Hey, I need to talk to you." I said really fast

"What about? We have nothing to talk about!" He said mad

"I just want to apologize, for what I did to you at the dance.." I said

"Its in the past, bye now." Adam says closing the door

I stop the door with my hand "Whoa, wait, whats up with you, I came to apologize!" I said mad

"There's no need. I heard what you said about me and if thats how you feel then I should just stay out of your life." Adam said in a forcing tone

"What did I say?" I said concerened

"You know what you said. Now goodbye!" He yelled and slammed the door.

What is his deal.. I didn't say anything about him. I don't know who would've either. As I turn around to walk back to my car I see a girl hugging Adam. Adam looks frusterated and sad at the same time. It takes me a minute to process who this girl is but right when she turns around and shows her face, I know its Kaylynn.

What is her freaking problem! Can't she just back off for once! Right away I know she told Adam a lie..

I drive to my house which is one house away. I just kept thinking that Adam is going to repay for what he has done! I know right away that I'm gonna have to fall in love with he's best friend...

ADAM'S P.O.V

Right when I saw Skylyn walking towards my door I knew she was coming to apologize, but what Conner told me I know she doesn't feel the same. I decided not to forgive her cause if the things that Conner told me are true I don't need her in my life. Kaylynn is sweet and nothing like what other people say, but I am kind of afraid she is just trying to get back at Skylyn.

The look on Skylyn's face when I started shutting the door was sad and disappointed.. I think I messed up, but Conner's my best friend and he wants whats best for me. But yet I have this voice inside my head telling me to not listen to him. What do I do?
