Back In Time [WenGa] Short Story

Prologue

Seokjin tightly closed his eyes, waiting for death to come. He knows the consequences but he can't bear to watch his sister suffer from her illness.

"Do you know what you just stole?" Asked the guard of the gate that is the entryway of the two worlds. He's now captured and being interrogated in the Tribunal State after it was reported of his sin.

He nodded slowly. Why wouldn't he know?

"It's the Kingdom of Darkness' precious stone!"

"I know. I defied the rules of the two worlds, I know I did wrong. I'm ready to receive my punishment." even if it means death.

"YOU-!"

"-I know, I was impulsive but because of the stone, my sister is alive and well."

"You're being selfish, Seokjin."

The door of the interrogation room opened, and there his sister, Joohyun, wearing a hanbok of royalty colors heaving with anger. She almost like she's ready to kill him.

"Do you know what you just did?! Our sister was healed but do you know the consequence of your impulsiveness? Our sister is gonna be taken away to the other side! You!-" She cried out at him.

Jin's eyes widen, "What did you say?"

"Instead of fighting each other, the Kingdom of Darkness side decided to take her away instead, you idiot. You know that each world only has one of those stones, you can't find it anywhere."

"W-where is she? Where is Seungwan right now?!"

Joohyun sighed helplessly, "At the gate."

Jin went out of the room and ran as fast as he could towards the gate.
