(y/n) was a kind yet sarcastic girl with a sense of justice and morale.She was an only child with her mom always out to do her work however their motherly bond never wavers despite her lack of time and attention to the (h/c)ette.She never holded a grudge against her mother understanding their situation and how it was difficult for her to support the both of them,her mother was a single parent after all.Her parents divorced when she was 10 yrs old altho she never really went against it knowing it would be the best for them to part their ways instead of bearing each others stubborness and arrogance,in fact,she herself suggested it.At first the couple went against the idea despite a hidden desire buried behind their minds,they were concerned with the mental well being of the child yet hoped they would also separate the bonds between them.When they realized how (y/n) wasnt even a bit fazed when they decided to divorce,the decision was made final and didnt hesitate to sign the contract.(y/n) chose to stay with her mom knowing her dad will prefer to live alone and find a new family to spend the rest of his life with but to ensure the bond between them (y/n) at times visit her father at special occasions and spend their time together.
Surprisingly (y/n) managed to know how to cook and do house work whenever her mom wasnt around to lessen her worries and return home with a nice and comfortable household despite her mom working part time jobs the salary she earns was still not enough for survival even for 2 people so they experienced poverty after months of her parents divorcion but managed to handle it when her mom found an appropriate job with an average salary but in the neighboring city often with late night shifts.
She also had a sharp brain for any other subjects in her schools curriculum and earned average yet satisfying grades enough to make her mother jump in joy and glee to go as far as to show her workmates (y/n) report card to convey how proud she was at her daughters intelligence and intellect causing (y/n) to blush of embarassment with her mothers childishness at the same time happy with how her mother praised her and took pride in being the one to raise you.
(Y/n) managed to attend a high school near their home to ensure that she can go home early to greet her mother when she returns or to help her release the stress she was emitting from work.After she introduced herself and found an empty seat in the class there she met a weird yet interesting lad with white hair and green fadings at the end or yet at the top-,noticing how his hair managed to stand and stay still in the air as though defying the law's of gravity itself.They stared making eye contact with each other and as she finished observing she started finding the right words to describe the lad's hair and once her brain started to process the right description to give him she unconciously mouthed the words "Radish Hair" out loud,enough to be heard by the entire class because of how quiet it was.Silence once again filled the whole classroom noting how someone finally remarked on their classmates peculiar hairdo not wanting to piss him off and make them drink weird colored drinks as punishment which is an excuse to make them be his testing subjects on his experiments.A minute passed and the whole room was filled with laughter and mirth confusing the (h/c)ette not grasping whats funny behind the words she just said until she felt a raging fire of hatred from the corner of her eye,realizing that it belonged to the person she referred to as "Radish Hair"
"You've got some nerve commenting on my hairdo you little brat..." he said his eyes plainly showing the hatred he developed on your first encounter not liking the way you himuliated him in front of a lot of people.
"I apologize,it wasn't my intention to offend you I was simply commenting on how peculiar your hair is and how it absolutely and positively looks like a radish" you commented sincerely but clearly taken as an insult and sarcasm by the said person.The laughter that was filling the room soon started to die down because of their instructor but also because of an evil deadly aura they've been feeling on the back of their necks.
~After Class~
A boy with brown hair approached you his eyes showing hints of cheerfullness and....fun?Somehow you dont understand why that was what you thought but it reminded you of your mothers bubbly personality even with her stress at work,after all she was the person that always made you smile even with your moments of sadness.
"Hi there!Your (l/n) right?!I'm Taiju Oki!Hope we can get along well" he said showing you maybe one of his brightest grins you'd ever seen in your new class.
"Likewise" while smiling relieved with the fact that atleast you had someone you can get along with.
"Hey (l/n) you don't need to be so formal around me don't worry I don't bite!" he chuckled having no ill will whatsoever.You thought how he must be the type of guy wanting to befriend maybe every single person on earth (okay not exactly but c o n t i n u e)
and kind enough to lend a helping hand to anybody who asks for it prioritizing people who's important more than himself
"Then can I call you taiju-kun?" you said hoping for a closure to atleast earn 1 friend in school not wanting to be alone like when you were in elem grade."Of course!If you want we can be friends!" he chippered getting excited with having another friend in school until something managed to catch his attention leaving you on your seat plainly confused as to where he had gone to.After a minute or so you noticed he was dragging someone with him who seemed awfully familiar to you.And as you made eye contact with him your brain catched on and told you who exactly it was,with your mouth forming the words processed by your brain.
"Ah.Its the radish guy" you exclaimed altho your voice sounding boring and dull but amused by the fact that you'll be able to have a decent conversation with him.Or so you thought
"Are you seriously introducing me to this girly who humiliated me in class?you big oaf" he said not taking his eyes off you as if telling you not to say another word which you gladly obliged thanks to his uncomfortable stare
"Awww cmon Senku!Be more friendly with (y/n) shes not that bad" he said while pouting his cheeks and looking at his school mate with determination in his eyes making the friend sweat drop knowing his companion wont stop pestering him unless he agrees.He clicks his tongue obviously annoyed at the new girl that himuliated him on her first day of school,not exactly the first impression she was imagining she'd have on her classmates but atleast she made them laugh....right?What he did next not only shocked her but also gave her a flicker of hope in coming in an understanding with her schoolmate,he reached out his hand in front of her while the other tucked in his pockets
"Senku Ishigami.A scientist" your eyes unknowingly sparkled when you heard this.Ever since you were a kid you always admired the works and theories of scientists,you used to watch anything related to science and mathematics that inspired you to be studious.Seeing that someone the same as you aims to be a scientist themselves makes your ambitious heart go excited (their still not in love so n o its not bc of romantic affections unfortunately -w-") he raised his eyebrow awaiting for your response until you jumped right at him arms spread wide with a bright smile plastered on your face.The two of you fell right over the floor on top of each other,one whos face was beet red and the other full of glee and admiration hugging the poor boy who,yet again experienced himuliation and embarassment causing the others to look over and laugh at our radish head's situation especially the kind of face he was making by being hugged by a girl who he barely knew,poor guy being confused and flustered not knowing what to do as of the moment except push the girl off him with force but gently to ensure she wont get hurt
"WHAT THE HEVK?WHO THE HELL HUGS A GUY SHE JUST MET 4 HOURS AGO?!" he exclaimed others shocked at his lost of composure most especially the said bestfriend Taiju who almost damaged his brain trying to figure out what just happened seconds ago
The girl merely smiled and extended out her hand for the boy to take "Let's aim to be scientists Senku-san!"
