For Dahyun, waking up in the morning is the start of something new and probably new opportunities for her.
So she really does everything she could to make her mornings feel a little less than depressing.
She accustomed herself with these morning rituals she has where Dahyun wears her very best perfume and puts on one of the best dress that she has (every dress she have is just fantastic so Chaeyoung doesn't really understand the point of having favorites).
Being not late is included in that stupid (according to Chaeyoung) list of hers.
And then today happened.
You know those days where you promises yourself to never drink again for one of so many times because waking up after that is really just a pain in the ass although you never really live up to that promise? Today, that was Dahyun was feeling, although this was the first time it ever happened to her.
She sat up, feeling a throb on her head and the need to puke. But somehow she didn't.
She sat up and smelled an aroma of pancakes tickling the tip of her nose as she succumb to the thick sheets of her bed. Every fiber of her body refuses to get up in that very morning and Dahyun felt the need to sleep again and never wake up.
The throbbing is back, but she was already sitted on the bed, missing a whole day of class for some stupid hangover is something Dahyun doesn't think will happen to her. And now it may have been.
Added the fact that Dhayun really can't skip class for no reason since she's kinda aiming for the perfect attendance.
Suddenly the not-so blinding sunlight that reflected on her face evry morning and that she welcomes everyday is too much for her to handle, she hates it this morning.
The door swung open, revealing Chaeyoung on her apron that says Best Cook Ever! "Oh great, you're awake. Get up now I know you don't want to be late. And although it is your shift today to cook breakfast, since I am a very kind friend, I did it, you're spared. Since nobody expected that the sweetheart of our highschool will get so drunk in a party she never did want to attend to in the first place." Chaeyoung chuckled with herself while shaking her head and walked out of the bedroom, Dahyun followed her, albeit swaying.
"Wait, Chaeyoung! What do you mean I'm drunk!?" She shouted from afar because Chaeyoung was already in the kitchen checking back on her pancakes. She may have dranked a shot of vodka and root beer, but Dahyun is sure it does nothing to her. So how is she drunk?
"Well, haven't you heard? You drank an excessive amount of vodka and barf and you drank some more and more and more and two glasses of Mina's best mix since you said you actually like it...if I didn't know any better I'm gonna guess you finished all of the alcohol in there. Are you sure it's your first time drinking?" Chaeyoung joked, emerging from the kitchen with her spatula. "Oh, I'll be damned. You don't remember a thing!" She laughed, teasingly.
"Uh...h-have you...where did...where did you found me?" She quietly asked, because the memory from last night just hit her, but just a snippet of it. She just remembered kissing an asshole named Sana.
"What do you mean?"
"When I left to use the bathroom. Did you look for me?"
"Oh, no? You just came from somewhere and suddenly you were dancing to some crazily sexy songs." Chaeyoung squinted her eyes to tease her. It seems that Chaeyoung's words took a little bit of time for Dahyun to process. "I didn't know you had it in you, you dirty little goofball."
Dahyun sighed, relieved. She's just happy that Chaeyoung didn't see her k-kissing...God, even the mere thought of it makes her feel disgusted of herself.
