"Wait, wait, wait! Let me get this straight, so you're telling me that we are allowed to have a DJ on the dance but not a band?" Chaeyoung asked from the corner with all ears trained to her.

"What's the difference these days?" Nayeon sucks on her lollipop as she leans back on the throng of lockers where most of them are busy putting their things away.

It was Jihyo, Nayeon, Chaeyoung, Momo, and Dahyun together this time as they all walk towards their next class that they'll be having all together. The rest are busy with their own class and Dahyun's mind started drifting away to one specific girl who's probably occupied with another experiment at the lab before she could stop herself. And she couldn't help the little churning of her stomach when the thought of how ridiculously cute Sana must've looked like with saftey goggles on over her lab coat.

"Oh, the difference is sure big, Nayeon. For one, I don't remember a DJ playing a hot red or black electric guitar over to the riff of one legendary song that transcends even at the end of time." Sometimes Chaeyoung can actually be dramatic, or many times but that was beside the point.

Nayeon rolled her eyes at Chaeyoung's answer, "Look, they both make the people in the room get their asses up and dance. Same shit, different medium." Sure Nayeon knows Chaeyoung for about a few weeks now, but one thing she didn't know about is to not set her off with anything related to music. The latter's a bit sensitive even if she doesn't want to admit it.

Chaeyoung scoffs at the prominent idiocracy Im Nayeon is clearly displaying, but she wouldn't have it today. "Wow, that's very nice to say."

"Thank you very mu—"

"I was being sarcastic!"

"Alas, you should've used your sarcastic voice."

The rebuttals made Dahyun's head spin like a million times, "Look, I know this is just some stupid thing to you to see me get work up on this but it's a pretty big deal to me. I've been in this small band for a few months now and this dance might have actually be a great way to showcase what we have as musicians. It's also an opportunity to show people that rock isn't dying. We're still in the middle of a revolution." Chaeyoung raised her head high, proud of the words that just left her mouth.

For a moment Nayeon was stunned, and a great deal of silence courses through them, "Ooookaaay...you do realize how dramatic you were—?"

"Hey c'mon, she's not dramatic. Chaeyoung really just sticks to what she believes in. She knows what to say and she stands by it, and I really am so proud of her for that." Dahyun offered a smile, leveling her best friend's sight and slightly nudging each other.

"Please tell me you guys were not just eye-fucking each other right there." Nayeon shuts her eyes close before sucking back her lollipop and walking down the hall away from them.

"Ew what!? You're nuts!" Dahyun shouted without leaving her place while Chaeyoung walks side by side with Nayeon.

"I'm telling Mina you just said that." Chaeyoung warned, even going far as using her girlfriend's name that she was told to only use when badly needed so as not to make it's power less.

"Your friend..." Momo trails her words beside Jihyo who was still busy putting things away on her locker to give them a glance. Momo has both her hands on her back pocket, shoulders slouched as her sight trains to the shadow both Chaeyoung and Nayeon left.

"Is weird." Dahyun did not bat an eye away when Momo looks back at her after she finishes her sentence for her. "I know she can be a bit much sometimes but it's part of her. And she wouldn't be Chaeyoung if she wasn't like that, besides I think it's really lovely to have a friend like her. She's there when I need her and stuck up with me ever since we knew each other.
