I gave Destiny some space because I could see how much she needed it.
I was about to call my father asking him if he knew how Vanessa treated her daughter, but I decided it wasn't a good idea knowing the relationship between my dad and her.
I decided to call my old friend Liam Black. He's a police officer so he'll know what to do.
"Hey pal how are you?" I said when Liam pick up the phone.
"I'm alright and you? I heard you tied the knot?" He mention it just to make fun of me because he knows my situation.
"You're really not funny Liam! Anyways how's Sora and the children?"
"My wife is doing great and so do the kids! They're so energetic and I have to handle them because you know Sora is pregnant again."
"You're really aiming for a soccer team huh." We both laughed at my statement. "Speaking of wives I need you to check something concerning mine" I said.
"Well look at you now! Proudly talking about your wife!" I shake my head imagining his face saying that.
"Anyways what do you want me to look into?" He said immediately getting into police mode.
"You see... she was abused by her mother and she doesn't want to open up to me. I want to ask you if it was possible to open an investigation. Also try to find her father. Apparently her mom doesn't know who it is. I want to see if he's a good guy because Destiny need at least a good paternel figure in her life."
"I can open an investigation but I can't arrest her nor bring her in front of a judge if your wife doesn't press charges against her. I'll look for her dad but I can't promise you nothing because we don't know anything about him. What you can do is send me everything you have and know by messages and if possible some pictures of her bruises if she still got some and scar."
