Listening to Destiny talking about her past and what she's been through break my heart. I couldn't find the right words to comfort her so I just stay silent.
When she broke down into tears I held her in my arms. In my entire life I never wanted to protect someone so much.
She opened up to me and let me in, she was naked in front of me without her shell.
I felt like a jerk the moment I yelled at her earlier, but when I saw back the woman who broke me into pieces and made me the womanizer I am today.
Sure my dad played a big part of how I ended up a player but I changed for her and she rewarded me by sleeping with my father.
I didn't want to talk about her and Samira was the last person I wanted to know about this worthless woman.
As I hold her I changed my mind and decided to tell her about Stacy.
"Today I met my ex fiancé" I told Samira. She immediately sat straight and was searching into my eyes for the truth, she stared at me in silence for what seems like forever. I was getting nervous.
I guess she saw what she was looking for because she broke the silence "what do you mean by ex fiancé? I thought everything said I was your longest "relationship"" she said quoting the word relationship with her fingers.
"The media didn't know about her besides my family and friends." I said truthfully.
"Why did you guys split up?" She asked, I can hear the curiosity in her voice.
"She slept with my dad" I said dryly like it wasn't a big deal. To be honest it wasn't a big deal anymore.
"Don't just drop something like that without elaborating! How? When? Why? What's her name?" She was getting angry and I know it wasn't at me but at them.
"She was a friend of Sarah and we met through her. I wasn't into her at first because I've heard a lot of rumors but I fell for her when we started to hangout. At that time I thought she was the person I wanted to marry and spent the rest of my life with. So I dropped my lifestyle for her. I didn't waste time and asked her to marry me and she said yes. The idiot I was trusted her around my dad, I let her sleep over and stayed the weekend even if I wasn't home. Dianne told me not to trust her but I was in love."
"She practically lived with us! So one day I told her I was going out of town with Zack and the boys but everybody canceled on me the last minute so I decided to go home thinking that it was better to spend the weekend with my fiancé. When I got home she wasn't in our room. I thought she went out with her friends so I went to my dad office telling him I was there. What I saw that night really fucked me up!
