Chapter 1

Chapter 1: A forced marriage and tears

In a world where 80% of people possess a power called a 'quirk' and 20% are quirkless. A 18 year old girl worked at a cute little coffee shop in the city of Mutsutafu with her friend and family. One day while she was working her shift, gunshots and the screams of people could be heard from where she worked. (y/n) hid behind the counter of the coffee shop until it was over, but she had a feeling that something else was going to happen. Later after she got out of the shower, (y/n) went to bed but woke up to the sound of her mom and (s/n) talking to male, then sobbing and pleading. "Please don't take her away, she's my little sister." cried the eldest sibling, "Don't take my little angel away from us." her mother cried. (y/n) worked up the courage and decided to follow where her family and said male were, "Mom, (s/n), what's going on?" she looked at the two of them to see tears in their eyes, it was the first time in years since she saw (s/n) cry meaning that the situation must be that bad. (y/n) looked up to see the most powerful Mafia leader in all of Japan, Enji Todoroki aka Endeavor.

"You're (y/n) correct?" he asked in a serious tone, "U-um yes s-sir." He walks up to her and looks at the features of her face and body, "so they are true, you are quite the angel." The chubby (h/c) looked between her crying family and the tall yet strong looking male, "Mom what's happening?" she asked her mother then looked at (s/n) again. "Y-you're go-gonna mar-ry h-his youngest son." her mom choked out while sobbing where she sat, with her eldest child patting her back. "What? But will I ever see you again?" she asked as her eyes were tearing up. Her mother shook her head, "I'm so sorry, my little angel. Her threatened to kill us and take you by force." her mother got up and hugged her, "It's fine mom, I'd rather have the both of you safe than killed." she cried into her shoulder.

"The date for the wedding is set for the day after her birthday." Endeavor said before leaving the house and letting the family cry their sadness away. "I'm not ready for this to happen, I always thought of finding my significant other and marrying them for love and not being forced to do this." she sobbed out then head up to her room for the night. The next day while (y/n) was working, her usual customers noticed that she never had her bright smile throughout her shift. (y/n) walked over to an elderly lady who was a regular customer and gave her the drink she ordered, "What's wrong my dear? You look so sad." she said holding the teens hand, then noticed that tears were falling from her eyes. She was crying, slowly breaking down from the news she received last night. "I'm sorry Mrs. Hinami, it's just something that happened last night." she sobbed and wiped her tears away, "Whatever happened, can more than likely change in the future."

The elderly lady said with a gentle smile on her face. Soon the tears stopped flowing down her cheeks and the chubby female smiled genuinely to the lady, "thank you Mrs. Hinami." The elderly lady pulled (y/n)'s hair up and placed a beautiful flower hair clip in her hair, "I was gonna give you this tomorrow, but you probably won't be at work." her (e/c) eyes twinkled in the sunlight and she smiled brightly at Mrs. Hinami, "Thank you so much, I love it." The (h/c) female got up and went back to work. After her shift was over, (y/n) went to the kitchen where her mom was and told her that she would be out for a bit then decided to get ready for the night club.
